They played him straight-up and he couldn't capitalize because his post up game is rudimentary. Jokic did better against the Lakers in 2020 against AD and Howard himself, scoring 21.8 with 53% shooting even as Howard seems to think that he shut the Joker down. Jokic has gotten even better since then, going for 25 against Phoenix on 48% shooting in 2021, 31 against the Warriors on 58% shooting against Draymond in 2022, and then this year he was unstoppable against every team, including against AD again. There's just no comparison between the two offensively, that's as clear as night and day.
Prime Howard can definitely hold Jokic in check, hes not gonna average what he is doing now. And Jokic for sure cant guard Howard on defnese either. Ppl forgot how crazy D12 used to be! But again, thats why you need good teamate to strive!
Older Howard did get the better of Jokic 3yrs ago
@aceassn716 hell no he didn't, Jokic simply didn't have help, you're delusional ash
You're one of those bums that think Howard stands any kind of a chance against Jokic, if Dwight was so good then why doesn't he have anything remotely close to the achievements Jokic has then, Dwight doesn't stand anything close to a chance against Jokic and dwight has no post game so Jokic is clamping tf outta him too, if ad, bam, Kat got clamped by him then Dwight stands absolutely no chance
How did Jokic just skip to one of the greatest centres ever and giannis and won mvp and dpoy and as championship
But still not one of the greatest of all time
Jokic is being overrated to the greatest off all time talk there’s no other player that did this little and is already said to be one of the greatest Big’s of all time
Maybe Kendrick Perkins had a point 😊
Watch the guy play. Espn only just realised who he is but hes been doin it for 3 and half years.
two mvps, 1 mvp, not enough?
Giannis is definitely one of the best PFs of all time for sure. In the mix with Malone, KG and Dirk, behind Duncan.
That’s funny Jokic isn’t in his prime yet 😂😂
Dwight got mad jokes!! 🤡
If the nuggets can win than anyone can win
Obviously not bruh
D H is jealous of Jokic. He’s playing in Europe or China for a reason.
Wilson in his prime can take Dwight
Debetable for Howard being between Dirk and Wade?
Man avg 15ppg in finals
Hahahah what are you smokin?
Where are you from, Wilson? You have a funky accent. Great video though! Really liked it. Dwight Howard's delusional.
I mean…talent wise Im taking Dwight but as a player overall Nikola is better.
Nikola can play with others and make them better. Dwight can’t.
One on one. Dwight is better.
As a player, if I’m building a team. I’m taking Nikola
Lol, Dwight is version of Ben who isn't scared to play, but he is as lazy as Ben
JOKIC CANT DEFEND JUMP BLOCK AND HE PLAY IN ERA WHERE 6'4 PJ TUCKER 6'5 DRAYMOND ARE CENTERS. U DO REALIZE DWIGHT WON VS PRIME LEBRON NOT VS 40 YEARS OLD
LOL U R DERANGED
@@PIP...33 you're just another one who can't apriciate Jokic's greatness. Dwight should have been superstar for a long time but after 2012 everybody just realized he is spoiled, doesn't care about game. Athleticism was only reason why he was beast on D, on offence he is mediocre, forced post game where he wasn't good at, got most of his points by dunks, never wanted to play pick and roll cuz of his ego... Jokic is by miles better despite Dwight was better potential
@@westbrick6393 U R JUST DERANGED WHO TRY TO DISCREDIT GREATEST ATHLETIC CENTER SINCE WILT AND ADMIRAL
@@westbrick6393 SEE HOW DERANGED YOUR FIRST COMMENT IS TO DISCREDIT D12 GOAT ATHLETE NOW U CRY WHEN I PUT U IN PLACE
I bet Dwight could school him now
Bruh Dwight has not ever developed a single go to post move in his career what makes you think he can come close to joker
You’re gonna lose if you bet any money on that bro💀💀😭🤦♂️
I don't remember ever wanted to watch Howard play or hearing people talk about how good he is.
Then you probably was a super casual back when Dwight Howard was in his prime. It was really easy to find talks about Dwight Howard being the best player in the league at that time along with Kobe Bryant.
His first few years there was considerable buzz around how athletic he was. "most athletic big since WIlt and Russell!"
But yeah, not much more than that.
His finals run was a team thing in that he wasn't carrying them much beyond rebounding and interior D.
imo different type of play, physically of course Dwight is better, but if you are looking someone as a key on your team, Joker already proof that he's the better one,...
Don't forget brook lopez was in center conversations at the time
Imagine if Lakers allowed Dwight to get unlimited lobs and play the whole game against Joker just a few years ago. Every honest person see they limited Dwight's game time and eventually removing him from the league to protect there mult billion dollar man "Joker"! No way Joker could do any of this offense on young Dwight.
I remember back then dwight want old head like shaq give him encouragements, loves, etc. but now dwight becoming old head and he is hating!
Bro Dwight wasn't even saying he was better defensively. He was saying he was better offensively than Jokic which is an absolute Joke, no pun intended. Jokic is miles better than Dwight on that end, even in Dwight's prime.
