Superbaby shaq Imagine being so good and one of the greatest players. But being so insecure about everything and has to bring up rings when he loses an argument
Til this day I don't think there has ever been a Center more athletic than Dwight in his prime guy was unreal. With little to no post moves except a jump hook he could drop 30 any night got 20 a night with mostly putbacks and dunks. Pick and roll wise he was just too quick for any center to keep up with and could literally catch any lob
Dwight in his prime might have been the most impressive athlete I ever saw, even more than Lebron, Giannis and Westbrook. His ability to jump without a running start is the best in nba history.
He’d the only player that people see a page full of accolades and somehow come to the conclusion that he isn’t one of the greatest ever. It never makes sense to me.
@@TheIcemanthomas 'cuz he was soft duhhhhhhhh' no but seriously, it is a shame that he isn't recognised as much more than a guy who won a chip with lebron, and partly bcuz he played a very underrated team in the 2000s (given than the lakers, spurs, pistons and suns existed, alongside the cavaliers and celtics obviously)
Dwight was amazing and for sure the best player on that team, but it was fascinating to me, as I watched many games, that Hedo Turkoglu was actually the leader of that team. They were amazing and very well-built as a team.
@@ooh4751 the biggest issue that is rarely mentioned is that Dwight tends to cause a lot of front office headaches by complaining about his role on the team. He would enter a new org on his best behavior, then increasingly try to pressure the front office to prioritize him.
Im SO glad you said this abt Shaq & made this video. Shaq probably single-handedly caused Dwight to not make the Top75 list bc he hated on him so much and ppl are followers so they now hate Dwight as well🤓🤓 Dwight is DEF. one of the greatest centers and deserves his due🤙🏾🤙🏾
He should still be in the league in my opinion. Not just because I think he is good enough but because of the leadership he could provide these up-and-coming superstars. The dude was literally a kid and dominating the league. He was Lebron-level dominant. single-handedly taking his team to the finals type shit. It's really a shame the league has banished him overseas. Happy he got his ring thoooooo
Thats exactly what im thinking People dont realize that he came straight out of high school and was so dominant he got the LeBron treatment. Unfortunately, he had a career ending back injury that he never fully recovered from because he wanted to hurry and play for LA after all that Shaq nonsense. He could never return to the three-peat DPOY Dwight and since he got the LeBron treatment and he wasn’t winning championships or at least coming close he was labelled a bust (which is completely ridiculous). I honestly believe that even if Shaq didn’t have his panties in a wad and try to do everything in his power to try and paint Dwight in a negative light he’d get the respect he deserves. He’s arguably a top 10 center of all time, and the ceneter position has the most competition all time. If he hadn’t been injured and was able to continue the pace he was on that could’ve easily moved up to top 5-7.
yo since your a hawks fan you should make a vid on korver. not sure how much love you have for him. but i feel like he’s always underrated as one of the best 3 point shooters ever and even proved his level of talent going off in his only all star game.
Yo Goober, I goob the hardest to your vids, so hard in fact my friends have nicknamed me the goonies goober gooner. Keep on goobing. (Yes this is satire) (Actually no it’s not the goon grind never stops, I feel it coming like Daft Punk)
1:15 Shaq was just being a petty and spiteful BUM to be honest. He was washed up and on his way out more and more as Dwight was coming up. Ego was so big he just REFUSED to give dude his props.
Shaq honestly has one of the worst egos ever. I implore anyone to check out any of SBNations beef histories involving Shaq, he is so stupidly petty it's absurd. Def check out the one with JaVale McGee, Shaq is still a fragile bully
Tbh Dwight's shoulders are wayy too stiff to ever be able to hit those (unless he grannies it). Shaq had actual potential to shoot free throws but just didn't need to whatsoever cause he was just that dominant to not care about that.
Also dwight didn't really have that crazy need to win. He was physically gifted but didn't use that in the smartest winningest ways. That's why he beefed with kobe so hard. I believe if he had more of that mentality, he would have been so dominant with James harden.
Let's not forget that Dwight took part of that epic comback vs the Clippers while Harden was benched, and years later his relentless harrassment of Jokic helped the Lakers win the title.
Dwight makes me mad bcuz he lefy so much on the table. He should of kept working with Hakeem on his post game & footwork. It could of extended his career
Shaq should just be happy with his 50 other nicknames and let Dwight have superman
Yeah he already has diesel lol

Such a good line
Dwight was one of the players i wish I had paid a little more attention to.

he absolutely deserved to be on the top 75 list

Dwight Howard and Shawn kemp gotta be two of the most entertaining bigs ever
Best intro tbh. Had to be said.

Dwight left so much on the table. If he worked with Hakeem on his footwork & post game it would of extended his career
How much did he realistically leave on the table besides winning a chip in his prime and winning mvps? He pretty much did.
@TheIcemanthomas he did win a chip , he just not the man when he win
Dwight should have been one of the 75 greatest players. He could've easily taken Nate Thurmond or Roberto Parish spot.
Idk how he can get mad over a nickname he gave himself. Like bro, it was for a dunk contest dunk because Superman flies. It’s not that deep.
