I've gone through the first 15 minutes and I didn't agree on some points. The first part enehaced the Consent: I'd say that Consent is not the umbrella - it's the opposite, it should be the last option you would consider when you develop the new compliance GDPR policy. Consent can withdraw easly, Consent must be unambiguous, must be clear and affirmitive and you must prove it - which is not easy to prove. If I have the ground, I would turn to other lawfulness PD processing reasons (e.g. Contractal Necessity or Legal Obligation or Legitimate interests).
