The truth, as disclosed by PM LW is that the Hainanese Hui Kuan who had invited him as guest of honour stated that the Hainanese clan association was celebrating its 170 anniversary with that of the Hokien and Cantonese Associations having a longer history. Surely the earlier Chinese immigrants from PRC did NOT come to SGP for a better life to be fishermen/women? Even LKY's forebears came to SGP not for its fishing village status and that LKY's own father had been a store keeper for Shell. Put your head into the sand & be immersed in the propaganda filth, but the realities point to worse to come due to the unmitigated diesters of Lee Hsien Loong and his wife Ho Ching.
