Love it, amazing video, one of the best LR builds I have ever seen. Great taste on everything done and the parts used, I would've built it very similar. Again very nice! Hoping to see it in person in the future!
I really admire what your doing as a family, the experiences that you will go through will stay with you for ever The only problem I would have is the lack of space and privacy, healthy young people need alone time for physical and mental health . I can see you are a very happy family so hopefully you all find away around any problems that arise Good luck and stay safe
Awesome rig! My experience with BFG mud terrains is they don’t like slick roads or hard pack snow. Every time I sled off the road they always got me back onto it. O’ya and the sticker is cool!
It's a nice Defender for shore, the life is around the vehicle, and sleeping is inside so it's made for warm regions. If you add all the mods it's at the end an impressive number of money witch you spend.
Money well invested ! Spent also an uncountable amount of time on it that has turned into experiences, knowledge, and skills 🙌 regarding warm/cold regions, depends what you do aside. We have already camped many times during Swiss winter times with neg temps. But North America is a whole different level of neg temps and personally not for me while camping 😆
It seems to me, we share the need and love for good coffee in the morning. There are lot of great ideas realized. I understand that the interior layout depends on fine whether destinations. Would appreciate a written list of the features as I didn't get all the brands and models. Thanks for sharing. Bon voyage. Heinz
Hi ! I hope you are doing well! I am also from Switzerland and right now in the process of converting a Defender. I love your setup, but had a question concerning the technical control of the car. Did you have to add everything to the vehicles papers and do a new technical control? Especially the water tanks and the pop-top roof. Enjoy the road !
Awesome rig, have a soft spot for 110s and LRs, great family living the dream, get out there travel the world, subbed to follow ya adventures enjoy the world 🤘
I love your stiker! My GF and me would like to join the jurasic 4x4 club! :D By the why, the whole 110 looks BAD ASS!!!! :DD Its a bit mad, how much you upgradet your 110, still love it! When you went this far. I would recoment, to reinforce the back axil. My father benthis 110 rear axile in tunisia. It was no fun to change it for a new one...
Great walk around. You mentioned VHF radio a couple of times. Did you mean VHF or UHF? Trucks (and RV’s) in North America use UHF 27 MHz frequencies, channel 19 being the ‘road’ channel. VHF is more used in marine and aviation applications due to the signal properties being pretty much line of sight.
Didn't she mentioned, that her husband is holder of a ham radio licence? So I understand, it is VHF, apart from this, there is a CB Radio in Board, too.
Thanks for the tour. Your Defender is a rightful source of pride and joy. I am curious about the weight of this rig and its current travel load. Also, what sort of freeze protection do you use with the water system? I hope your travel plans include the desert southwest. Safe and happy journies.
What an amazing defender and a great example of what’s possible if you’ve got plenty of money. 💷💷💷💷💷 when I win the lotto 🤞 Maybe tell us what this all cost.
Thanks! And I’d say that it’s money well invested towards living a dream rather than going out or spending it on useless things that wouldn’t have helped use achieve this 😜
Cordialement Thierry
Guessing your clothes are in individual bags that go in the boot on top of the drawers - But where do you put all your clothes when all 4 of you are sleeping inside?
To be honest, I would like to ask the same question. Where do you keep your personal belongings? (Clothes, shoes, toiletries, ...) In our car there is a lot of stuff! Where do you keep your kitchen utensils? Where do you keep food that is not in the fridge (spices, pasta, sauces, pastries...), dishes?
Awesome Rig, great video of your setup. Looking forward to your adventures
The body gets a 10/10
Enjoy. You have lots of great trails to look forward to. I did Oregon to Dead Horse in 2007 in my defender 90. Fun Fun
Thanks! Awesome trip you enjoyed, was that a trail road ?

Huge amount of work you guys put in there and the result is impressive! I liked your previous setup but this one is next level 👊
Glad you like it! Thanks John :)

Thanks! In such tiny home it might seem more difficult but it’s no different than at home with teenagers 😜
Excellent set up. I will borrow some of your ideas, thanks

I’d say most muds don’t go well on packed snow and if we were to stay for winter in the North we’d replace them and go for winter tires 👍
Great video , love you husband reaction Funny ,

🙌 no reliable anti water freeze system so if temp gets too low where we are we’ll have to purge water system and stop using it.
Vous habitez en valais maintenant ? 😮
Il semble bien lourd votre defender !...
What about the VHF antenna on the front bar, concerning MOT?
Best to remove all antennas for mot
Who makes the rock rails? Sorry if you mentioned it and I forgot already 😂
Paddock spare in the uk
Love it! But how do you cook?
🙌 cooking on the induction hob plugged in the electric socket
@@offtrackfamily Got you! Good choice!
@@offtrackfamilyCould you do a video on that setup? I scrolled through your existing videos and didn’t see one on that.

Ce doit être celui de la climatisation :) (d’origine sur le notre)
Who is the supplier of the quick release steering wheel?
Optimil for the quick release system and steering wheel is motolita, ordered at muduk
