I am in Toronto Canada 159 AM in the morning can’t sleep you know idea how soothing this feels to me at this moment I am single Catholic Practicing Catholic drinking a glass of wine and allowing my mind to fully embrace this moment in time knowing that come what may my deepest desire at this moment is to allow my mind to focus on the author of life through listening to Salve Regina by these men I am 71 living in a retirement complex and listening to these men the Salve Regina and I can actually feel myself relaxing and simply living in the moment in time Yesterday is history Tomorrow a mystery all I have is this moment in time with my Father in Heaven
So deeply moving Takes me back to the times Jesus walked the earth. Perfect background for the Rosary or other prayers. We need this now in the church.
Floriani's singing of this sublime music is extraordinary. Learning to sing unaccompanied chant with such excellent pitch is not easy! It may seem counterintuitive, but the simpler the music the more exposed the individual voice and therefore the greater the difficulty IMO. The music written for the church from the earliest notation through the end of the 17th century, give or take, is an unequaled artistic treasure.
Thank you for posting this glorious music. My son is 16 years old and a sophomore at a Catholic high school here in Virginia. If you go to his UA-cam channel 'Mr. Roy Wulf', you can see a video of a presentation he did earlier this month about his love for Gregorian chant and sacred polyphony. He hopes to help introduce some chant and polyphony into school-wide masses.
So talented! Thank you for creating such beautiful music for the Lord. It is so incredible to see people use their talent and gifts to showcase the beauty and mystery of God. This is soul stirring.
Thank you as well for making videos that inspire us to learn more about the Faith. We can all in some way spread the True Faith and especially devotion to our most loving Mother Mary! Viva Christo Rey!
I was thinking today how to explain why we Catholics love Mary so much, and why many Protestants do,even if secretly. There was a moment in history when nobody in the world held the faith handed down from the beginning, save for this poor wee Jewish widow, standing at the foot of the cross. She never flinched. As a mother I cannot imagine what she felt - yet even at the death of all hope she was faithful. All generations call her blessed, as prophesied, not just that she was the mother of Our Lord, but also that she held the faith against the dark when all hell thought that it had won. It's okay to love her, even if you're a protestant. ❤
Can really feel the reverence and love for our holy lady here 🙏💓 please please record a full version . This is so very very beautiful, and a great prep for prayer 🙏
Chants echo in my soul, thank you so much for producing them. I can now hum or sing (to myself so far) more than silly pop songs. I hope the Church continues to embrace these ancient form of worship; it speaks in a special way any generation seeking God.
Please sing this Latin chant inside the lower chapel of the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth, right there at the very site of the Annunciation.
This is incredible, I sincerely hope you guys put out an album soon. Is there a score available or is this more of a planned improvisation? So grateful for your channel and podcast!
This is absolutely STUNNING! a gift from heaven! thank you for sharing this stunning piece and talent with us. Would you happen to have a vocal score I could purchase of this? Would LOVE to sing this at church with other singers!
Hello! Please help! i find a videolesson of gregorian SOUND making on vocal. How make voice in gregorian style with my lips, neck and ,outh? i need a tutorial of my mouth for gregorian vocal. id You know this lesson, write me links, please)
The words are from the prayer Salve Regina, or Hail Holy Queen. Here is the translation: Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, Hail our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, Poor banished children of Eve; To thee do we send up our sighs, Mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, Thine eyes of mercy toward us; And after this our exile, Show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
Thank you! Is it possible or easy to find the Latin version of this exact arrangement? I thought I "heared" this arrangement was different and as I was reading through the Latin words of the whole prayer it seemed longer than this version? Might be an issue because of my Latin skills 😂 but I'd love to learn it to sing in my church
Beautiful but not unique listen to Mozarabic chant form Spain. The idea that their is a western nd eastern form of chant belies the incredibly breadth of styles of chant found in the universal church

¡Esto es orar!
Is there a podcast version to learn to sing this one?
Yeah I second this request
I wonder if music score of this arrangement is available for purchase?
Are you guys on spotify? I’d love to play on repeat.
Same, have been looking for it but can't find it on there
Anyone know what tone this is? It doesn’t seem like the solemn tone, so is it a much older tone?
It's a variation on the first part of the Solemn Tone Salve Regina, composed by Giorgio (the one singing)
Is this on Spotify?
I love your music. Is there website that I can shop for your cd?
Is this in the form of Old Roman Chant?

Where can I get the sheet music of this...
May we purchase your music?
Whats music?
Adaptation of the Dominican Salve Regina?
Solemn Salve Regina I think, but the two are similar.
Can we get the words in this arrangement? I've tried to follow along but I got lost! It is my dream to sing this with you.
The words are from the prayer Salve Regina, or Hail Holy Queen.
Here is the translation:
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
Hail our life, our sweetness and our hope.

And after this our exile,
Show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving,
O sweet Virgin Mary.
