- Here is a simple trick to make you the boss of the picnic. Create a refreshing watermelon smoothie with essentially no mess in 2 minutes.

I grew in in late 70s early 80s NYC when it was still kind of alright to hang out on street corners under the elevated train and sometimes even play frisbee football at night when traffic slowed down. We'd have giant coolers filled with vodka spiked watermelons like this but leaving the plugs in but removable with toothpicks or knives. When the cops came they would look in the coolers see no beer and tell us to be careful and stay out of trouble!! Sweet memories of days gone by.
