Almost 30 years ago i was starting as an employee at Demag, here in Brazil . I had the opportunity to know about the entire process of manufactoring of those excavators and follow the processes related to the maintanance of these giant machines. Amazing people, amazing company, amazing time! Thanks for share !
This is awesome,I spent about 10 years on a Komatsu PC3000 Ringer mounted to a 50’x150’ barge on the Ohio river at a construction site. I had heard of some of these scale models or replica’s but had never actually seen one. Beautiful collection you have there.
Demags were used here in Canada in the early 2000's at our largest diamond mine in the arctic. I used to work there repairing equipment. The now use 6060 and 6030 units
I shouldn't have clicked on this video. Oh man, how much I shouldnt! This is stuff of my childhood dreams and by god I'm still a child inside!!! Looooove your collection!!!
yep, I'd give her some shelf space..... got an old NZG ( ? ) 485S in white, keep wanting to detail it up to match my later additions. one day perhaps, one day.
Would be great to see a few close ups of the 1:32 pel boy mini excavator you have along side the Thwaites dumper, Its one I've always tried to kept an eye out for, awesome collection and video Alistair 😊
What a wonderful collection.. I have been recently begun to collect Komatsu miniaturas.. Could you show us the smallest pieces.. like Sk714 1/50 Komatsu or pc50
Just having a look on KPS Models and the unpainted versions in production are equally impressive - they show just how well cast/built the models are. See those production images and you realise it'll be heavy! Just wondering: Do you have any dragline models? I ask because at The Discovery Museum in Newcastle upon Tyne they have a model of one and it's a sight to see. With the boom attached you realise just how big the draglines of the Northern Coalfield (England) were.
I've never understood the model collecting hobby. You're spending hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars on what is basically a toy that you can't even play with... You just look at it... Idk. I work with machines so at the end of the day. The LAST thing I wanna do is come home to relax and stare at overly expensive toy versions of the things I work on all day... Lol. To each their own I guess...
Don't you have a new kid? Sorry I'm new to your channel and have only seen a few. I expect this is never to be played with. So the door has a lock, right? And you won't be putting the key somewhere a 2 year old (give them time) might eventually climb to...

My grandson would love to have a collection like that, 20months and the only interest is excavators, tractors, dumpsters, bulldozers

Beautiful model. I wonder how this model would compare with CCM's brass models, for detail & cost?

Awesome collection I have never see anything like these before WOW. Are all your models in your collection made by KPS?
No the well known makes are by nzg and Conrad and then there is rarer stuff
Did you ever spend some time in the DHSDiecast forums? I feel like I recognize your name
I sure did back in the day!
You melted a few tonnes of metal for that 🤣
