Someone else had mentioned “Saturday Night Fever” the movie. Bee Gees wrote most of the score for that movie. “Staying Alive” was a big hit off the movie as well. Features their falsetto vocals in a disco beat. Looking forward to seeing your reaction to it. 👍🏼

I subscribed to your channel because of the hundreds of UA-camrs that have explored and loved the Bee Gees rabbit hole, yours will only be the second one that I get to witness in real time. Fair warning - this is a fairly large rabbit hole as the Brothers Gibb (thus the meaning of their name the B.G.'s) have hits that span their 50+ year career. Let me tell you how talented this group is..even when they were blacklisted and stopped recording during the 80's they spent that time writing #1 hits for every other artist out there before making a comeback in the 90's, including hits for their younger brother Andy Gibb. Please be sure to add To Love Somebody, Fanny Be Tender, and Massachussetts to your review list as well as the entire Saturday Night Fever soundtrack and Spirits Having Flown album...even then you will have only scratched the surface. They are the complete package of singers, songwriters, and musicians.
The Bee Gees have a younger brother Andy who has a ballad "Our Love (Don't Throw It All Away). Barry Gibb has a song with Barbara Streisand "Guilty". The Bee Gees also sang background for Samantha Sang "Emotion". Peace!!

Another great high falsetto song is 'Alone' featuring Robin's one-of-a-kind voice getting into the stratosphere! And Maurice hits some notes that sound more like a flute than a human, singing the line '...just the beat of a lonely heart'!

The Bee Gees were the Best. Their voices were absolutely beautiful, especially Barry. You don't hear voices like this today. So gifted, so talented and pure raw talent. The Brothers Gibb, Barry, Maurice, and Robin, have been harmonizing songs since their early childhood.
I was born in 1962 and was alive during a time when radio was king. AM and FM. My main genres of music, the ones I listen to the most, are Classic Rock, R&B, and some Jazz thrown in for good measure.
But I learned, too, not to pay too much attention to the genre. Good music is good music is good music. Doesn't matter. I also listen to Rap, Hip-hop, Country, Bluegrass, Prog Rock, Metal, Heavy Metal, Rap-metal, Classical, Zydeco, and just about any other genre that you can think of.
I love music, and it's always a joy witnessing seeing someone step outside their boundaries, and to be glad when they did.
