    Teflon tape isn't for hose barbs. You should use a clamping wire on the outside below the barb. The teflon tape will cause leaks in the future.
    Teflon tape is for threaded connections only!

      yep you are right.. If for hose should be using clip

    You should have installed an expansion vessel to avoid any leaks as when temperature of the whole system changes the volume will change as well, causing excess pressure followed by leaks

    Just a tip: Don't connect the pump wire to motherboard while pc is on. One shortage and your precious board is gone.

    Hubiera quedado más pro si le hubiera puesto unas abrazaderas pequeñas, no alambres.

    So So Painful to watch wire for clamping hoses oh boy! There's something called AUTOMOTIVE ZIP TIES or CLAMPS dude. Please don't ever try this crap for your cars radiator or house hold pluming. As the water heats up it (WILL) expand a little causing some pressure and it (WILL) leak.

    Why r u putting Teflon tape on barbed hose fittings.... not its intended purpose or a good idea if it had any pressure at all it would leak bad but hey its your build I guess I should not expect much with a 35 $ wet pc cooler

    can i use water instead of coolant
    if not can i use car coolant 50/50 mix

    • @casebycase2932
      @casebycase2932  4 роки тому

      hi sir, If you use water, the radiator may corrode. Reduced cooler life and corrosion buildup can be a major problem. You can use a coolant for your car, but you should be very careful because there are harmful ingredients in your body.

    Not even close to enough fluid in the system to effectively cool your cpu. You NEED a reservoir.

    • @alexanderjanke1538
      @alexanderjanke1538 7 місяців тому +1

      Not really.. If there is not air in the system its okay. Do you have a bathtub big reservoir?
      The more water, the longer the system will stay cool. But if there is more water at a high temperatur after a few hours, the temps also wont drop as fast as with a small reservoir.
      Pretty pointless to say that you need a reservoir when there is no really advantage or disadvantage in overall performence.
      Of corse it is "better" to have one because of expansion of the water while the temps changes and slitely diffusion of the watee, but if you would calculate them on such a small system, the difference it might have is negligible i guess.
      If it is way more then i would expect it to be, then you can have trouble with higher pressure, and coming with that, a higher potential of some leaks
