Cheers! It's a cracking ridge, glad I finally got up there in good conditions. Yeah, I wasn't too worried about the crampons as it was fairly powdery snow but you're right, generally best avoided!
Cheers! It really is a beautiful area, not one I've explored much but definitely will this winter! If you don't mind snow in every part of your clothing, a good bum slide is the best way down...!
Similar to my route down the step except that I go further left near the bottom. There are good placements in there amongst the blocky stuff. Easier of course if you have seen them without the snow! Good work with the heavy sack. Maybe another time, lighter laden, try ascending and the descending the ridge. Then you get to experience all those moves twice and with different approaches. Good value!
I'm a big fan of going back the same way on ridges, so I'll definitely do that next time! Climbing up the bad step seems quite straightforward, but climbing down not so much...
@@adventurefilmclub2549 There are actually lots of jugs, spikes and edges in there which of course you don't see if your first experience is a downclimb in winter!
Really enjoyed your video, stunning scenery! I climbed The Saddle in August but didn’t do the ridge as had a mad spaniel with me. No way could I even attempt it in winter, proper mountaineering. Is your tent an MSR access? Looked cosy inside. 👍
Cheers! Definitely worth bagging the ridge one day, I've not done it in summer but reckon it'd be a great scramble! Although probably not much fun with a bouncing dog in tow! The tent is an MSR Elixir 2, I'd like the Access for its windoroof abilities but need to prioritise the pennies! The Elixir works in most situations though.
Uniquely exquisite film making in these environments. Bravo.
So cool. Really enjoyed.looking foreward to more adventures from your Channel soon.Atb Søren. 🙂🙂🙂😃
Cheers Søren! Much appreciated. I've got some epic winter outings lined up this season! Just hope it's a good winter ahead!!
Great video, nice little adventure! Not recommended to glissade while wearing crampons. Can go horribly wrong.

Heck of a view up there. That slide down at the end is wild!

Caused his own avalanche 😂
