Xaoc Tirana, Bastl Pizza- ‘Tirana Groove’- RtB

Ever since I sold the enormous (56hp!) Behringer 960, I’ve been after something that does per-step ratcheting in the rack- and I’ve finally secured a single Xaoc Tirana off eBay. Four steps with ratcheting, up to sixteen steps if you want repeats; another one of these would do me. New Bastl Pizza too- steepish learning curve (I’m going to have to patch along with the Ben DivKid Wilson video to get properly to grips with it), but some interesting noises. It’s about as small (and cheap) as complex oscillators go, but I’d rather that than 30hp of something twice the price tbh.

Still not back to 100% after Covid, so a lot of time in the studio is spent just messing with sound (hurrah too for the tape and microsound skiff!). As soon as I have something meaningful patched with the Syntrx I’ll post that…
