Installation look's a little complicated I hope there are more detailed video's showing how to do this, I sure hope they get it up and running for the USA market in the next 6 months, in time for the popular riding spring season,
Hello and thank you for your comment. The tracker needs to be installed horizontally for your bike to be covered by insurance. This is because the antenna head on the device needs to be faced this way to give out correct signals. The tracker itself can be installed as preferred, but installing the device a different angle or if there are any metal materials covering the antenna, then the GPS will be weakened / interrupted. The dimensions are: 221 x 92 x 61mm Hope this helps! Cheers - Michael
Hi John, Thank you for your comment. I doubt that it works in the seat post, but it is in an interesting idea! I contacted Bikefinder to enquire about this. I will let you know as soon as I get a response. Cheers - Michael

That should work! You can compare the dimension as well just to check if it fits. Please note that if you are in the US, the tracker will not work. At the moment the network only covers Europe unfortunately. Cheers - Michael
Hi and thank you for your comment! There are different modes for the Bikefinder, and depending on the mode, the battery life varies. In the standard and security modes, the battery life is around 2 weeks. With the tracking mode, the battery life is only 16 hours, so you should only activate this when your bike has been stolen. Please note that these are manufacturer's specifications and may differ. You can find more information at the bottom of this page: bikefinder.com/e/getting-started/ Cheers - Michael

Subscription for two years cover i which worked out after conversion £1.27 a week or £5.09p a month. For bike costing, 5000 pounds is value for money. Charged fully before fitting now 3 weeks later checking 75% i hoping for 8 weeks before charging. Having had a bike stolen and other insurance companies only giving out part of the claim, friends recommended bike finder.
Hi, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, the Bikefinder does not yet work in North America. The GPS standard used is currently only enabled for Europe. It is currently not known when Bikefinder will also be available in North America. Which drive system does your electric bike use? I would be happy to look for available GPS trackers for your bike. BR - Michael
Thanks. Right, that's why we should always tie our lock to a pole. Batteries of angle grinders do not have enough juice to cut a sturdy lock or pole. Chhers, Luca
I think there must be a dummy empty unit also issued to put on the other side.
fantastic idea
This is awesome there need to be one for all handlebar types

Hello! If i want to put it in the seat tube, will it still work? I am sure the dimensions allow it, but the signal will still get through?

No demo of finding it?
But why doesn't the USA version come with standard USB-C?
I have mirrors that go into the end of my handlebar. Can I put it in below my seat post

Hello, in my humble opinion, nothing is safer than an angle grinder-proof lock.
Thank you
