This is the single most important of all of your teachings in my opinion. And if the light don't go on, watching and understanding the analogy of dropping the pencil & searching vs. dropping the pencil knowing it was not the Self, then people I think just want to stay ignorant. So simple, yet so evasive for so long for so many of us. Thank you again Ken, this one is so simply profouns I don't have words just gratitude.

LOVE this subject. My understanding is that our brains are receivers of signals from the ether instead of a closed system where the brain is the thinker. I also think that our response to an outside world should be non-reactive in order to live an internal joyful life. It's our reactions to every situation, happy or sad, that effects our emotions of response. Not saying not to be compassionate or feeling, but to not feed into the outside world and stay true to the middle way which is observing and learning from each situation by growing from it. Wisdom-Beauty-Love. I also think it is an internal process. I am the one who wonders if our signals are still around once the human radio brain is dead. I don't know how to ask the question correctly, but the thought of ceasing to carry on as a thinking entity whether in a body or not kind of freaks me out. Yes, we don't know what happened billions of years before we were born into bodies, but at least we have no memory of being born and avoided the pain. As we exit, many of us will be fully aware of that terror right up to the bitter end. I would love to believe that our physical body is just a vessel to receive signals into the brain from elsewhere, meaning that perhaps my essence or light is elsewhere to continue and maybe be thrust into yet another body or existence. But I am also frightened by the idea of not ever being conscious following the death of this physical body. It's seems like a sick joke on us, especially for this who were born into hideous circumstances or crippled bodies. I find this existence a nightmare many times. As much as I love learning and observing, I'd hate to not have that following the demise of my physical body. What say you, Ken? yeah, I know I am primitive in my words, but you understand the gist. So, if you drop the body and no longer identify with it, does your essence still carry on learning without the body? (I am reading the Tibetan Book of the Dead and Dying to help eat the horror of meeting death to this body. I would love to be very aware at the exact point of death and try to transition to the ether as aware as possible.

@@alchemy1 excellent points sir, ken said many times not to stretch the analogy too far as it falls apart. it is not a 1 to 1 comparison. Because if soul is a singal it obviously needs a source/transmitter, and a medium, and beyond them the singal/soul won't exist.
But the idea radio / signal analogy good enough to convey that the soul continues to exist, without stretching it too far.
I would love to know your thouhts on the nature of our existence. Because I do consider myslef an intellectual child analogies help me to understand better 😊

And all those who having intellectual/verbal/written prowess, seemingly provide to the beggers who with their own empty inner dialogue look for such folks who provide the very taste they are looking for.
Sooner or later the novelty of it all wears out, all that is left is empty words. With that desperation on hand they either revolt or find new means of stimulation.

Dear Otto, I hope you don't mind if I give my five cent to your "expanding consciousness".
Consciousnesses is dependent on the six senses, thought sens included. Taking Kens example of the radio, signals entering your senses unfiltered. To make sense of the signal, we try to make sense of the signal and naming it according to our personal perspective/understanding. The result is a blend of different interpretations of the signal.
All this happening can be observed, meaning that you can be aware of hearing, seeing, smelling aso. At the same time you can be a aware something entering your senses. You talk with someone and you are not aware of the bird singing in the tree, because your awareness is fixed on hearing/listening the person you talk to. Your consciousness is picking up the signal from the bird, but your awareness didn't.
Awareness is the all covering and unifying principle. Awareness is knowing, not consciousness.
We grow our awareness, or let's say, as more we remove our own filter, ignorance and intellect, as clearer the mind gets, your awareness gets and one understands and sees everything through simple knowing and wisdom.
Growing consciousness sounds like gaining something, but actually one should try to lose only the delusion of the wrong I identification. The rest comes naturally.
You can expand your consciousness, meaning you could concentrate on your hearing sense for hours a day, and after a while you can develop super hearing, meaning you can hear things from a far distance. It's like a blind man. If one sense doesn't work, his energy will be more focused on other senses, like hearing, smelling and sensing.
I hope that makes sense, but nothing is growing. Awareness is only a repeating moment of the ever present now. Awareness is still and doesn't move, has no past or future. It is the only thing that never changes.

Brian - trying time be helpful sir. It’s my understanding at the very center of your pineal gland is simply a very small drop of pure water and the tissue around it are electromagnetic sensors just like what you have around your eyes.

The delusional concept of self will never give up desire. You have to move beyond the story of I. Then you can really enjoy live without addiction, holding on or rejecting things. You will simply enjoy greatefull what live has to offer. Desires are dreams of wanting more than what life already gives you, provides you with.

I would like to start by saying I have died twice, . No brain, heart ect function in both cases and as these descriptions are fine in trying to define death, they are not entirely accurate within my experience. The biology and the mechanical difference are tremendous and can only best be described as the hard drive becomes part of and independent of the signal at the same time. There are complete unknowns and questions that our human brains do not even have the ability to ask.
This might be long, please forgive and please do not take this wrong, I know you are sensitive about some things. This, unfortunately, is the only way I can convey my point of perspective and many things are taken the wrong way. I know you much better than you know me, I know, you know, how polarity can play out in this new cage humans have built.
The reason why I have watched so many of your videos is because they come closest to the resonance of reality outside this flesh. I was connected, tuned in, coupled, linked, bound, whatever term you want to use and all knowledge was as familiar to me as a house or car is to our experiences living in this age. Home, is the best term I could use to describe the overall accommodation, along with every feeling and/or emotion you could emagine. Dramatic transformation and as time does not exist, it does not matter how long I was dead here on this Earth, I was connected to everything.
I have used a similar analogy describing the soul and death, the only difference is I like to use the computer and wi-fi to describe the one side of the experience.
As I came back from the experience, the knowledge was stripped away like a onion, but some things were left behind and you have helped me become aware of some of them. How much is left to be unveiled, I have no idea. The knowledge is more vibrational then heard or understood as if it is all around us, but your insight triggers some of it. Hard to explain. Thanks for your insight and help. I really wish I could explain it all.

I have used psycodelic drugs for a big part of my life I graduated from mushys to LSD and now dymethaltriptamine or DMT for short. The experiences from a breakthrough on DMT are extremely close to wat u are describing. There are no words in any language that say/describe DEATH hense why when u come back u can't describe it and u are left going awe awe awe. I have drawn pictures from there because it's the only way to say wat u see. As scary as it is, it's the most peaceful calm connected place nothing is scary anymore nothing can hurt me I'm finally here HOME
The radio signal analogy has been used for at least decades (Roger Penrose for instance), and the pencil thing is straight from the Tibetan Book of the Dead if I'm not mistaken, so no you are not "the first" to describe these concepts that way haha... but I'm sure you are aware of that.

We all are all parts of a collective consciousness that will have the same thoughts ideas and realizations As many others. That's why it is said there are no original thoughts. And it's not possible to be aware of everyone having the same Ideas and revelations that WE are. That being said, it's unfair to accuse him of anything dishonest or underhanded. I've actually never heard it explained that way and I am pretty damn knowledgeable about the subject. We cant know everything.

As i was sungazing in the morning today, i was pondering this same question. We visualize as the soul as atomic, and i think its more of a convenience than reality. What if the soul is actually a field instead of being "point source". However, there is much to be thought about.

I have a rather unique perspective on the subject. I was born dead and revived. Have suffered various trauma leading to cessation of my respiration for differing lengths of time ranging from bleeding out at age 2 due to a head wound and suffering cardiac arrest through to adulthood taking massive blunt force trauma enough to render me likewise without respiratory response. The only "memories" I retain are from those few and most recent experiences as an adult. But these are things I chose to never share until I met someone who had likewise passed beyond that threshold and returned.
*I've been lucky enough to have had a peek behind the scenes during a near-death experience. I remembered nearly everything - including my Real-Self* We exist in an eternal, timeless present moment but, have become temporarily hypnotised by the illusion of Life. Just as birth isn't our beginning, death isn't our end. We exist prior to, and after, our turn playing the game of life.
Oh Bullshit! Your brain was stressed by hypoxemia, low perfusion or some other physiologic abnormality at that moment. You don't need some other nonsense to explain what you felt.

My first experience of seeing the "unseeable" involved a dream of using LSD. The dream was a literal prediction of my experience a year or more later,(almost like going to the cinema to watch a pre-screening) of my first LSD experience. (I dont encourage taking LSD by the way.)
2 of 3- When my father died I had TWO premonitions, but naturally I didnt know how to react.But it shook me so much I was very vocal about it. This premonitions happened at a (different)street intersection than where my Father died, but its strange that a premonition could happen 2 days in a row at the same time in the exact same place, albeit at a different place where my father died. But the "clue" was there if that makes any sense.
The day it happened (4:32) I had the same feeling, but much stronger. Because of the premonition the day before, I shrugged it off, because of my friends and family saying im just worrying too much.. I even heard a voice in my head, go to 50th& G, but I ignored it as my friends said I was being crazy. I listened to them.
Later that night, I learned my father was killed by a drunk driver at 50th & G.(He turned himself in,did time for it.)
3 of 3- My Grand mother was dying of Brain Cancer. The family only learned of this around a week before she passed. The night she died, I awoke to a "ghost." I knew it was her visiting me to say goodbye. Later that day, it was confirmed she died early in the morning.
I'm not sharing this to depress you, or seek sympathy.Or even to blow your mind. You don't have to believe me either, but on all I hold true, THIS HAPPENED to me!

I really enjoy your videos. Brilliant! Transcendence and elightenment has to be taken litteral. When the lower gets liberated by "The One", the lower soul gets filled with light, wisdom and love (and other qualities from The Source). It cant be taught and the lower soul cant do it by it self. It happens in a flash, to my knowledge best described in Kashmir shaivism.

Just to let you know.... I have said nothing that you can hang to, just pointing to what is.
I noticed this premise similarly while watching a few scientists vids this weekend. Even when they included plasma to their models they weren't finding the answers they claim to be looking for. Yet none of them seemed to be thinking about magnetic influence and varying fields within fields nor the pressure mediation there in. They never hypothesize the different values of time a Galaxy growing on the Universal Tree of Life (and Knowledge) would be experiencing at the "same time", nor do even seem to want to acknowledge a cosmic web. Even the idea of expansion seems to completely mystify them enough to make them blind to the actual pattern that has really been going on. Which is, the field we live within is shrinking annually and has been probably since the beginning...like a galactic birthday celebration in celestial time. Each time it gets smaller every living thing begins growing smaller as well. Everything eventually becomes size proportionate to the smaller more pressurized environment that is created from the big shrink. This has already done many things. One for example, it shrinks the time of decay frequency graph that has everything to do with the lifespan of everything within our field. Two, as we shrink the rest of the "Universe" we can "see" looks like it's getting more distant. Third is that this new pressure introduced to present types of light substance could be the true way new "elements" can be created by way of their fusing together in ways they couldn't achieve before due to all the extra pressure. With this idea these "particals" no longer have to be slamming in to each other at lightning speeds... Imagine if that pressure change is instantaneous. "Hard light", that is us. Why does every new pressure cycle start at a Stone Age? Because things just got a little "harder" for everyone and everything. I'm rambling now. Good Day.

Bruce h Lipton has made that same analogy with the broadcast signal pertaining to that same point. Always great to hear more then one say the same thing. I have never heard anyone use the pencil analogy which I think is the best simplistic way of stating it. I thought transcendence was complete disobjectification from all form even a disembodied form? The way you describe it seems more like a state where you have control over the disembodied self so you can stop yourself from blindly reincarnating into an empirical form. If there are degrees to wisdom would mastery over reincarnation be considered a high state a wisdom and complete wisdom is where you completely merge with the absolute?
The way yogis describe it "mahasamadhi" is where you become pure inertia and spatially manifesting as an individual is completely over. Or is that the wrong idea? I think nirvana is the same thing but i don't know much about buddhism.

Disidentifying with form, even embodied form, is the first step, and leads you to Cartesian dualism, i.e. a soul in a body, a ghost in a machine, where you are the soul; this is the same as the Samkhya and Yoga traditions, where the seer (purusha) and the seen (prakriti) are separated, and the self identified with the former.
However, true transcendence is moving beyond this dualism to the monism which unites it in the vein of advaita vedanta, i.e. realizing that ultimately this separation between seer and seen is also false, and that if you actually were to describe the reality of your experience, there would only be seeing; as such, you then correctly identify yourself with pure awareness itself, or awakeness in the Buddhist traditions. This is vidya, or rigpa as it's called in Tibetan Buddhism, primordial awareness.
