Ken - I have watched hundreds of your videos on metaphysics and magnetism. This may be the best of all of them. Prayer does work, and it is frequently answered. However, "you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you might find, you get what you need." Thanks for the insight and wisdom - I look forward to more like this!

Thank you for this video! I grew up in a religious home and as I got older I learned to disdain organized religion, however I have experienced the power of “prayer.” I was never able to reconcile those two things until I heard your explanation. It was an “ah-hah” moment for me.
Vav is the word, 'AND' in Hebrew. The vav is a symbol of connection, a nail or hook used to join something together. The vav means continuation; to add, to secure. I think prayer/ritual helps remind us or bind our mind to what is important to our survival in the seasons, whether it's more money, love, health, or the repetition of our philosophy. I adore your channel! 🤍🥚🤍

Something that may help others who are possibly nearing the end of their human life cycle, we pray for their healing and pray to the divine so that their pain may ease.

5:15 - “vow” - this, by definition, is one of the meanings of “word” itself. One’s word being symbolic of its will and willingness to uphold it, is one interpretation for word. One need not articulate a specific set of words but simply utter alignment with the will of another, and your word becomes a vow..
I'm interested in word etymology. More for cutting away modern meanings than anything else. I would consider prayer as direction. For me, I was overwhelmed by dark desires and I came to a point where I was so broken that I had to submit to the divine because it was not within my own strength to fight against my own dark will. So it became not my will but thy will be done. So I would agree with pretty much everything you said.
Etymology is the greatest enemy of Newspeak.
'Prayers' and 'petitions' are similar as for etymology.

The how and why of conscious existence are two of the easiest concepts to make a ballpark estimate on the nature of (karma/sin teach us the nature of living with ourselves and others as we prepare to grow further in the life that comes next in heaven/reincarnation), but I would argue that the how and why of conscious existence are two of the hardest concepts to understand the specifics of. I also believe that's by design, as it allows those of us given this gift of conscious existence the opportunity to live and grow freely. Unless I'm mistaken, it's written that Buddha himself wept in his later years, because rising higher in understanding simply revealed that reality was wearing yet another mask, and it seemed doubtful he would ever find the reality that lay waiting under all the layers of illusion. So, if the specific nuances of conscious existence are largely arbitrary (and again, I think this is by design), then I choose to perceive of my own existence as a seed in a forest that's already grown a great deal from where it started, and will continue to grow in it's individuality and joy and sense of meaning infinitely and for all eternity, and what's more that this is very likely the purpose underlying creation itself. That we aren't meant to simply be sensory organs of the Creator, but children destined to experience life in a manner that is increasingly robust in both experience and understanding forever on unto eternity. Always growing, but in ways utterly unique to each individual journey, all the way planting and encouraging the growth of other seeds destined for their own individual and infinite journeys.

If you understand what the Devine truly is then you can pray anyway you want because if you truly understand the Devine then you know it doesn't matter whether your prayer gets answered or not because whatever the Devine decides to happen then that is how it will be. Nothing happens without the consent of the devine.

Prayer to me is communicating with my subconscious which in turn transmits to the power around me. The proof is in the pudding. I manifest events others would call miracles. Three disciplines brought me to approaching my spirituality in this way. Psychology, how the mind works. Astronomy, how the Earth works and electricity, the power that surrounds us in our lives. You are a micro circuit transmitting into a very powerful power field.

In Dutch and German as you may know we actually have the word eenvoudig or einfach which translates literally to onefolding or one-ing as it were and it means to make simpler or simply to be one, eenvoudig (onefold) meervoudig (multiplefold).
Most people have unfortunately not the slightest idea about the true meanings of words. If they did, they would be stunned, especially in these times of mass deception. A very interesting one is the German word for the news (as broadcasted or in the papers): "Nachrichten". When you take it apart, it becomes "nach richten", literally meaning to adjust to it and therefore also to act accordingly, to follow the lead...
To expand your example, the German word "einfältig" is even more telling, as it is the EXACT translation of onefold/onefolded, yet it is used to describe people with a limited intellect in a demeaning way.

once you comprehend the lower realms it is much simpler then this it very similar to the double slit test the more conscious you become the more effect prayer becomes because you become more aware of how it actuly works so you understand how to craft and execute your prayer

A Venn diagram depicts the overlap or where there is union between two functions. To be in union is to have overlapping features or qualities and a space where there is a dissolving of separation due to common principles.

The emptiness inside can only be filled through proper prayer, however, most lack the understanding of how to pray because they have been taught to ask for what they want. It is my understanding that we have each been given the ability to manifest and/or create that what is needed. Prayer in the form of gratitude that incites the faith in ones self is best in my opinion. The divine is within, believe it can do all things through you. We are created to be all powerful beings, yet never learn to even use our own brains to the full potential. You are as great a being as you choose to be. Ego, fear, overconsumption, envy, hate, vanity, laziness and disbelief are all obstacles that can prevent ability to manifest ie grow to full potential. Loved the video. Would loved to watch an hour for more in depth discussion. 😉
@@1realtruthrightnow742 I'm not saying that there is only one way to pray. I'm saying prayer is somewhat of an internal connection to something greater. Most religions seem to tell people how to pray, things to say or ask for. You can't teach someone to understand. What some would call meditation, I call prayer. I am no where near even close to being perfect. I just know for most it's just been ritualized, almost chant like, and tends to lack actual sincerity and conviction.

I see myself as a small part of a greater whole, an extension of the divine despite I am flawed. To be physical in a physical universe means to be "flawed", whilst trying to achieve higher goals.

I have studied many, many "theories", for many years. I eventually formed a combination of systems, that works for me. I acknowledge that I am a creator, and can create. For lack of the correct terms, I focus my attention, intention, and concentration, on what it is I wish to create, or manifest. There are schools of thought, that refer to this process as creating a "thought form". It is a combination of concentrated visualization, repeated, focused, thoughts, and then releasing the intention, and having faith that the process works. It can be considered "prayer" , I suppose, but I don't ask for anything, but express gratitude for knowing what to do, how to do it, and having trust in the "system" or "process". I have manifested things in my life that others who know me have referred to as "a miracle". The really odd thing about this, is that I am not consistent in the use of this knowledge. I do not "do" it regularly. It is almost like I forget how well it works, go awhile, then some situation prompts me to use it again. As always Ken, I thoroughly enjoy your discourse. You are a ray of light, in a gloomy world.

Ok you can laugh at me but. I do my prayers in the tub. Makes sense water becomes an atena. It’s always felt stronger.. sometimes I focus in on the water and I see a wind of clouds swirl all around me. Wondering if anyone has seen this as well?
I haven't had the wind cloud effect but I definitely experience "shower thoughts" at a rapid rate. You're onto something praying with water.

One NT scriptural translation issue I was made aware of recently is what Jesus said about prayer.
"If you pray and do not doubt, you shall have that which you ask."
The issue is the word 'doubt'.
Correctly translated, this means, "If you pray and do not try to work it out yourself, you shall have that which you ask."
