Man, we really haven't come that far from Fight Night if this is a brand new game. They really nailed it back then.
OK game but I returned it. Fight night definitely the better game still
Very small indie studio compared to a giant like EA tbf. There's definitely some improvements to movement etc but it could do with several improvements to gain any long term players I'd imagine
It all went downhill after the first fight night from 2003. That was easily the most realistic one

Game looks great but a huge issue I see that will fix the fluidity of offense is the ability to be mobile while punching. It seems like the fighters just completely stop movement while striking. Huge disadvantage when trying to finish the KO or KD because all you have to do is back pedal when hurt. Maybe they’ll fix that in the final version.
Yep that's what I'm seeing too. I hope they add that soon because it doesn't look as fluid as it could. I'm glad the power is there now.,it feels good.

I will say after playing around 20matches now, you can’t just back pedal and get away, while i still agree that they could make you more mobile but you can close the distance if you double tap L3 or LS in the direction of your opponent and you will do like a sprint. However, you can also learn to step and throw in the game to keep momentum moving in this game. so if you just walk up and swing you will punch and stop but if you walk up and flick the L3/LS in a direction and swing you kind of keep momentum and swing

I was expecting the CPU to fight more in the likeness of Canelo. Sure it looks identical regarding the physical features, but nothing like his actual fighting style (defense nor offense). They nailed Ali's entire likeness, so I'm not sure why this wasn't something applied to all fighters. Kinda like what 2K is known for. They are close nonetheless, hope they keep listening to the fans.
Literally 2K make scans of each and every one of WWE wrestlers for the games except dead wrestlers and they still nail them!

Box long brother!! The power jab and body straight were working well. The AI also throws so many shots early on, that it gases quick.

I had so much fun on this game. Once I learned how to directional punch and to take my fingers off L3 when fighting in the pocket I was amazed. Graphics are insane too...It's nowhere near finished yet though but they have the grounding blocks for something Special if they stick to their word.

@@nyranstanton203 You make it sound like all you have to do is buy a new graphics card. As if PCs have ever been that easy. I should know, I've used them for over 17 years now. Nothing ever works on PCs. I bought a graphics card (knowing it wont just work, nothing ever does) got home, installed it, switched on the PC and guess what? Nothing happened. If you want more power, you need to buy a new PC entirely.

Why do the ref disappear in the matches and not apart of the fight?
Maintain jab, distance, left hook when leaves openings, stay circling him especially left. I noticed he tends to miss more.

Something I noticed is no lunging forward attacks. Every attack stops movement. Canelo lung forward body hook is his best shot and here doesn’t seem like an option.

Does anyone else experience that when you try to move away the fighter instead starts bobbing and weaving? This happens to me and instead of moving away I spend all my stamina... Not sure if I am doing anything wrong.

i tried twice to beat Canelo with Roy Jones on normal difficulty and the judges just refuse to give me the win... do i have to knock him out ? i feel like beating him by score is not the way or i am missing something

Have you heard of a problem where when in get up after a knockdown the frames drop to 2 fps and its unplayable? I literary can't play because of this

Canelo on hardest difficulty throwing punches in the air. Lol.
Haven't played the game yet but I think I'd stick on the 1s and 2s to use that range and invest in body work early on while staying extra cautious in the first half of the fight. You were maintaining your stamina well so with the added drain to his stamina from missed shots and body work you could out work him in the later half. That way even if he scores most of the early rounds you'll still be able to clear out the latter half of the fight and win by a few rounds.
I'm gonna wait until the game is fully released on consoles then pick up a ps5 and get it for that. I can't be bothered to play a boxing game on my PC, seems better suited for a couch game you know?

There's so many times you had his energy on low and all you needed to do is throw another jab or try a body shot and stun him but instead you would ignore it and talk through it when you literally had him where you wanted him.

Redo: use your left jab at the max distance, then take a half step backward. When Canelo comes forward immediately throw a 1-2 L/R straight combo(no hooks). And watch the results. Note: stay on your bicycle 🥊
