Hey komal my story is lit bit like you I'm non medical student and opting early childhood education program of one year after that my plan is to do care assistant course which is again for one year.
Now my question is that,
Like i do to two programs for one year -one year is I'm getting two year work permit.
Secondly with the usage of care assistant worker in any hospital or in person is I'm eligible for tis pathway. 😊

As given in the ircc website it says-
Home support worker (NOC 44101)
You must care for someone who needs help from a home support worker in your employer’s private home.
The location can’t be an institutional setting such as a nursing home.
As mentioned above, it says employers home.. can you please clarify this?

yes it’s true that for this pathway, PSW has to work in their homes and private spaces not in institutions. As this Caregiver pathway is specifically for those who provide community based care under one employer which can be comes under (ODSP).

No, if you are in part time you have to do atleast in two places to get eligible. One part time only counts for 15 hours.

Nurse aide is different from PSW dear.

I applied for PR direct to permanent category on 10 April after getting 1yr work experience in Canada as caregiver, so I wanna know what is the processing time bcz on IRCC website it shows 26 months! Is it for real or you know any other candidates who done with this?
