The Brachiosaurus that died is the same one Alan Grant saw in the very first film, which makes it alot more sad, knowing it's one of the original. Also, I believe the T-Rex is now the only one being from the original film? Not sure if there are more. At least not some we have heard of yet.

Maisie's character being a clone is what drives the whole plot though... And what gets the dinosaurs to escape into the mainland. It's not necessarily a good one, but it kinda helps to drive Malcolm's point: it's chaos.
I feel the same way with this as I do a lot of shows- the idea of a person identifying with other cloned species because they are a clone isn’t terrible- the execution was just incredibly poor

To hurt Jen's feelings even more, that Brachiosaur that was crying out for help on the burning Island was the same Brachiosaur from Jurassic Park. The Very first dino we ever saw, and now the last we see on the main island.
The brachiosaurus scene is hands-down the saddest scene in the whole franchise. It’s a beautiful shot but it makes me cry every time! Also, the scene where Owen is in the cage and has to roll out through the T-Rex jaws really happened. Chris Pratt actually rolled through the animatronic jaw just in time which is why that scene is so impressive! A lot of people don’t like this movie but I think it’s great! The opening scene was actually the original ending to the first JURASSIC PARK, where Grant sees the Rex grabbing onto the skid of the helicopter, then takes out a flare gun and shoots the animal in the mouth, the Rex let's go of the skid then they fly off into the sunset
*9:04** Few people realized that this car was the same one Tim and Lex were in 1993 when Rexy broke free and crashed into the ravine. After almost 30 years this same car is still there*
I'm glad they showcased two of my favourite Dino's. The Ankylosaurs makes a return. He's my fav! And then the Baryonyx. (This is the one from the tunnel that they trap under the hatch. We also see them carrying one onto the ship. It's awake and snapping at the dock worker)
True, I've watched other reactions and so far, Jen is the only one I've seen that's okay with it. I love the creepy horror vibe the Indo-Raptor has. When we first see it, he's reaching out and just barely touches the girls hair. And then the scene in the bedroom where he's being a super creepy horror slasher villain. So good.
I do love how horror movie-esque they made the Indoraptor. This gothic operatic music, its creeping in the little girl's bed, the fact it's intelligent enough to show signs of sadism & insanity. It's a fun villain monster (cause let's face it, this is a monster, not a dinosaur). Also the baryonyx that was attacking Clair and nerd boy was trapped, unless there was another one (which there could have been) they show it on the docks also. Some how they captured a lot of dinos and here air lifting them back to the dock in a stupid short time even if they were there for hours hunting for blue, with all the work that had to be done for the number of dino they had, travel time to the dino, tranqing, caging, an air lifting, all that takes a lot of time. And the little girl.......at first I was like, meh innocent child used to discover evil plot and adults that won't listen, I'm okay with this. But then she ends up being a clone, something I picked up on before the confirmation, which I was still meh with, I can ignore her and watch dinos. Specially the Sytigmoloch towards the end head butting everybody. But at the end her excuse for releasingthe dinos was the dumbest thing I've seen in a moving in a while. If I was Owen I would have backhanded her across the room and shut that door before anything but compies got out. Then probably contemplate throwing her in the gas area also.

There's a mini fan art comic of this scene 14:00 that shows the brachiosaurus being rescued by Godzilla. She rides on Godzillas back and he takes her safely to a new home. Whenever I see this scene I look at that fan art as canon fo me.
That shot with the brachiosaur on the dock is truly one of the most heartbreakingly beautiful scenes in a movie in many years, even knowing it's all just ones and zeroes in a computer.
The Franklin/Holden character was so much fun! *edit* This movie was fun, but I didn't enjoy the cgi dinosaurs being brought back to life by humans, only to end up dying horrible painful deaths by drowning or fire. Suffering isn't fun to watch for me

You both need to watch Battle at Big Rock and Dominion Prologue. Also I think Massie being a clone helped make the plot more interesting cause given the technology we’re shown in this universe does points out the question whether the cloning strategy would be used or humans or not and also Massi’s choice open room for next movie to prove the point that it’s all “chaos”. Coexistence with dinos even though we consider the fact that they are just animals, we can’t neglect the fact that they were the original owners of planet. We are the ones who tried to resurrect extinct species and trying to control the very same nature that control us, nature would bite back if you’ll try to tame it.
The opening with the T. rex grabbing the helicopter was in the original script for the first movie. It was going to chase the jeep from the visitor Center and grab hold of the helicopter as it took off.
Y'all should watch the Camp Cretaceous show it takes place before, during, and after Jurassic World, it's animated but it's actually really good and has lots of dark moments, it's also cannon
What I've been digging about the Jurassic world movies is how they are taking thematic elements from the novels versus simply mining them for action scenes.
Blue after defeating the Indoraptor was just like "MY JOB HERE IS DONE!" Also, it's hilarious whenever you make really bad puns or jokes and your gf looks at you like "Are you f*cking serious?!" XD
Camp Cretaceous explores more of the hybrid dinos. In fact the series takes place during and in between the two Jurassic World films. Wong plays a role in the animated show and the IndoRaptor … it wasn’t the first hybrid after the Indominus.
It’s heavily implied no pterosaurs flew to the mainland. The ones we see in Vegas came from the mansion. Holden was was saying he was confused why they hadn’t done that prior to the manor event
@@olivera6743 I think in canon lorewise the Pteranodons from JP3 did actually make it mainland and Hopskins from JW was it? and his team re-captured them and took them back to Sorna which led to him having a influence in the new Park on Nublar.

Yeah, I'm with Jen on that. Whenever they introduce plans for another new hybrid dinosaur, I'm like "give it to me!!" haha. I always thought the Indoraptor was badass, loved it's all-black coloring with a striking yellow stripe running across it, soo good. The Indominus Rex was another badass looking dinosaur too I feel, always loved that design too! The I-Rex is basically what a dragon would look like if it were a dinosaur, a really cool blend of the two! I also loved that the I-Rex was essentially an albino dinosaur. We've never seen one of those before! :D
Should definitely check out Battle At Big Rock. It's what happens between this movie and going into Dominion. It's filmed by Trevorrow and it was wonderful. Short 7 minute film.
Dominion is streaming on Peacock- you can get a years subscription for $20. It was really really good! I knew nothing going in and didn’t even view any trailers so I had no expectations and it was superb!

Holden killing it with the references the loki had me confused for a second and the j.r. one made me die of laughter
22:10 that laugh just made that scene even funnier lol
Yeah the guy that took the teeth was the captain from the show Monk
Yes that's where I knew him from
I bet Holden absolutely loved making the little bit at the start 😂😂 Love you guys!!
You guys should watch the official short film Jurassic World: Battle At Big Rock available on UA-cam it happens like a year after this movie.
Anyways, great video (as usual).
Agreed
I can't be the only one that teared up when the dinosaur got left behind, right? 😅
Can we just appreciate how good the ad skits are, just so good, Holden has a future in foley work for sure. Also loved the random visit from the brit-ish lai-dee.
Seeing Buffalo Bill/Captain Stottlemayer being described as "one of the goons in Fluber" broke my heart.
🤣"I hope blue wasn't a Jehovah's Witness"
I paused it to comment so sorry if you figure this out in the part of the video I haven't seen yet.
Old, weird, military guy in Shutter Island was also Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs.
Edit: 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I suck. Good catch Jen! Literally 60 seconds after I paused it
3:00, he was having fun at this part, there’s no one who wouldn’t play with Dino toys after seeing Jurassic park 🤣🤣👍🏻🎉🥳
7:40 got a good chuckle out of me. Love these jokes with the editting
fun fact that last shot of the raptor (blu) on the rocks looking over the town jen called “suburbia” is where i live (:
There's a mini fan art comic of this scene 14:00 that shows the brachiosaurus being rescued by Godzilla. She rides on Godzillas back and he takes her safely to a new home. Whenever I see this scene I look at that fan art as canon fo me.
You guys should check out Camp Cretaceous on Netflix. The events happen around the time of the first Jurassic World movie.
I love Camp Cretaceous but if they had trouble getting into Clone Wars, then they'll get even more get into that.
i appreciated the clone trooper joke😂
The moment they left the long neck behind never ceases to make me cry.
Props to your editor.
“Holden Thomas H-…!”
I died xD
The bad army colonel was both in Silence of the Lambs as Buffalo Bill, AND he was the captain on the TV series "Monk".
Always loved how the Dino slurped him to wake him up, "wake strange thing so it wont die"
That shot with the brachiosaur on the dock is truly one of the most heartbreakingly beautiful scenes in a movie in many years, even knowing it's all just ones and zeroes in a computer.
Haunting, indeed.
The Franklin/Holden character was so much fun!
*edit* This movie was fun, but I didn't enjoy the cgi dinosaurs being brought back to life by humans, only to end up dying horrible painful deaths by drowning or fire. Suffering isn't fun to watch for me
Who says you can't hear animals? That scene was really heart breaking. Gets me everytime
“You can’t run away from me, little boy” - Holden Rex, 2022.
Lowkey..
This thumbnail is one of the best I've ever seen from this channel.
Everything is perfect.
THANK YOU! I'm Holden's editor and since he's without internet right now I've been doing the thumbnails as well and I like to have fun with these sort of things hahaha
@@DMFX1 You did great! Everything from the color grading, to the Indoraptor's jaws framing the image. Beautiful work!
did you guys watch the kaiju-verse? like godzilla king of monsters or godzilla vs kong?
"Turned out, Uncle Ben's killer was actually a man made out of sand, a SAND MAAAAN if you will. Incidentally, my daughter looked exactly like that woman who just left, funny coincidence that"
*13:50** the sad thing is that this brachiosaurus is the same one that first appeared in the first Jurassic Park when Ellie, Allan and Malcolm visited the Island for the first time. Rest in peace*
That is soo stupid.
@@phoenixmagi2what
Okay, the pinball thing got me. I was dying for a moment, that was great! 🤣
Glad you liked that! -Editor
Both Holden and now Jen making faces at the camera is the best!
This was on cable while I was on vacation out of the country years ago. I was so intrigued that I watched a few minutes and watched the entire movie later that night. It's the only JP movie I've ever seen.
Official request for the pups to be in every video 😂🥰
Jurassic movie's Amazing 😍 and that part at 28:04 whoops lol Rexy 🦖 She sneaks up on the really mean greedy Mills guy Bites him up Shaking him around like a fun Dogy chew toy before he gets Eaten up it was actually kinda funny looking wouldn't you agree with me?
that scene with the brutosaur left behind had me in tears when i watched this movie. i know its not real. but "animals" getting hurt, hurts me as well. and then add on its supposed cries for help as its being left behind. its a long time since seeing it and i still teared up a bit. just cant help it with animals.
Blue after defeating the Indoraptor was just like "MY JOB HERE IS DONE!"
Also, it's hilarious whenever you make really bad puns or jokes and your gf looks at you like "Are you f*cking serious?!" XD
Why is the Patreon ad the best part of the video??!!?! Omg, I had a laughing break-down x’D
Blue- running towards the forest
Holden-...going right towards that school bus...
LMAOOOO
I remember seeing this with my little brother and him balling his eyes out during the Brachiosaur scene. It took awhile to calm him down after that.
Camp Cretaceous explores more of the hybrid dinos. In fact the series takes place during and in between the two Jurassic World films. Wong plays a role in the animated show and the IndoRaptor … it wasn’t the first hybrid after the Indominus.
"Why don't these Pterodactyls fly to the mainland?"
Someone clearly did not sit through the End Credit scene of this movie lol.
*These screams from Franklin (Justice Smith character) make me laugh hahahaha*
When y’all get married I really want video of Jen trying to do part of her vows in a British accent
Speaking of, I wonder if they secured a live streaming thing or not.
What makes it worse is that dinosaur that died in the fire was the very first original dinosaur you see in the first Jurassic park movie. Extremely heart breaking
I love jen's réaction for all the sad scenes felt the same way as her back in theatres when I saw it twice 😭🥺
You should watch Jurassic world camp Cretaceous now
The opening scene in Fallen Kingdom is the BEST opening of all the Jurassic movies.
Holden you should have worked for Robot Chicken 🐔
I love that Jen and the Indoraptor have the same smile on there face when the tooth fairy 🧚♀️ gets eaten 😋
There's this Jurassic world short film that you can watch on UA-cam called Battle At Big Rock which takes place sometime after Fallen Kingdom,
also you should check out the Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous series on Netflix,
there is also a five-minute prologue for Jurassic world Dominion that has been cut from the final film that you should check out it's available to watch on UA-cam.
21:27 Loved the Jim Ross reference.
This Patreon clip at the beginning.🤣Nearly spitted my drink over my keyboard.
This is my FAVORITE Of the Jurassic World Trilogy, and It's criminally underrated and I LOVE Velociraptors and blue is my favorite
that patron shout out at the beginning was amazing lol sounded like Peter Griffen when the Theme song hit
I love how she combines the two names of the sauropods. Brontosaurus + Brachiosaurus = Bronchiosaurus
Love the Land before time reference at the start grew up with that film fantastic.
Should definitely check out Battle At Big Rock. It's what happens between this movie and going into Dominion. It's filmed by Trevorrow and it was wonderful. Short 7 minute film.
I would also recommend watching the short film The Battle at Big Rock and the Early Look at Jurassic World Dominion. Both are really cool.
Dominion is streaming on Peacock- you can get a years subscription for $20. It was really really good! I knew nothing going in and didn’t even view any trailers so I had no expectations and it was superb!
Ian: (In JP2) "So you went from captialist to naturalist in just four years."
Claire has taken the same path. She's just young enough to go personally.
