Thank you. I accepted Christ about a year ago, and have attended Anglican and Reformed Baptist churches, but this weekend I attended a Catholic Church and it was so beautiful, I almost wanted to cry. I met the priest and he showed me around and gave me a book and a pamphlet. I have been just consuming books on Catholicism since. I believe I have found a home to serve the Lord.
🕊️👏🏿♥️🌴Welcome dear brother. You are home. It will not an easy journey and it will be rewarded. I am so happy for you. I will keep you in my prayers. God bless you and keep you safe.🌷👏🏼👏🏿🕊️🌴🥰
Thankfully, the vast majority of my time on my phone is watching videos like this. In the last 24 months, I've learned more about my Catholic faith than I did in my first 61 years.
Thanks father Mike, you are my guide. Through you, the holy spirit speak to us. It is amazing how your homilies answer my questions of life and the battles in my head. I thank God for your service.
Father Mike, I am currently deployed and the location I’m at does not have a chaplain. I am extremely grateful that you put up these videos and also have mass on here every Sunday. It helps me to not only keep close with God and the church but also helps lift my spirit until I can return home. God Bless Father, and thank you!
Thank you Father. This is a very tough reality for a hospital worker like me but God’s grace is sufficient each moment when I am being bullied on daily basis openly condoned by leadership. Not easy to be a Chinese/Jewish. But knowing that my work help to save lives that I am truly blessed with God on my side. It is very helpful I find that to start a day in silence then onto rosary prayer asking our Mother to open the day for me so that I will always recognise Jesus ‘ footsteps are right next to me. Love from Boston.
Thank you for this homily Father Mike. I have really enjoyed getting to know you and listening to all of the various things you have released over the past few years, you are a man of great faith.
🌴🌷🕊️Good day Father Mike Schmitz, You really let "Jesus shine through you!". You guide us so amazingly. Father your homilies are a combination between a slap in the face and a gentle touch of a cool breeze in the soul.😊😇 Thank you for all that you do. We keep you in our prayers. God bless you and keep you safe. Hugs from Florida.🦋🌴🥂🕊️♥️
First gentiles in the Bible led to Christ by Peter ♥️ Acts 10 KJV 44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. 45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. 46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, 47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. Hey? These Gentiles got the Holy Ghost by believing. I also noticed that they got baptized after they receive the Holy Ghost. Humm interesting Acts 16 KJV 29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, 30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Interesting Paul said to believe. Paul didn’t mention baptism? 1 Corinthians 1 KJV 17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. Ephesians 1 KJV 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, ♥️ gospel of your salvation ♥️ 1 Corinthians 15 KJV 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 🩸✝️ Romans 3 KJV 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

I pretty lost all my friends and I’m okay with that as I couldn’t so GOD is doing it for me. I feel I’m being punished only to come to understanding that is to be expected. It is hard however if it was easy the road would not be narrow.
I always enjoyed Fr. Mike's Homily. Pencil and paper ready to write down his valuable teachings in his Homily every Sunday. Noted to myself this week with a little extra. "keep it simple Stupid!!!" God bless y'all in Duluth. 🙏
Thank you for your Homily because your words definitely hit home since I have kids who constantly reply to me and my wife that they know but fail to do them. The classic excuse is "I was going to, or I intend to do it" Knowing what you need to do and Actually doing them do not go hand in hand. You eloquently spoke the words that I've been trying to get across to my kids. The example I give to my kids is that, you may have an educational degree in whatever, you Know, but if you don't use your degree, then the knowledge you have is useless since you have not used it to do what is necessary. We are so blessed to have you in our lives, Father Mike. Thank you for all you do to help us strengthen our relationship with the Lord our God. Amen
