Having shot those Topoint Top-X stabilisers they are such good bang for your buck at $150 for the whole set with a good amount of weights and dampeners. But I went for a equivalent set of WNS stabilisers which feel the same and only slightly more expensive, I just didn't want to deal with the known issues with the Top-X's coming apart. But I'm looking to upgrade to something thinner due to wind catching my WNS and the ACS are on my list to look at but I've been leaning towards the Shrewd Revel's due to the included dampeners. So thanks for the review. I don't really think good stabilisers will get you points indoors especially but will certainly be better at dampening vibration from the bow which means less tightening things back up that come loose during a shoot. Outdoors on a windy day that's where you might see expensive thin stabilisers get you more points.

Great to see a Win&Win accessories review. You haven't done one for a while.

Have tried both the ACS-EL and the ACS15. I prefer the ACS15 more as the ACS-EL, although thinner and lighter, drift more in the wind. Furthermore, I had to run a 6-4-4 setup on the ACS-EL to compensate for the wind drift as opposed to the ACS-15, where I run a 4-2-2 setup. Dampening-wise, the ACS-15 does as well as the ACS-EL and unless if you are an Olympian who can tell the minute difference, the ACS-15 works just as well as the ACS-EL.
Nevertheless, it depends on how you like your stabilization to be and whether you prefer a lighter or heavier set-up to run with your riser and limbs. Thank you for the great review Stephen and I look forward to more videos!

Stabs are confusing. For a first stab I want something to grow with. I hate buying budget stuff it’s a waste of money, imo. You end up buying twice. With stabs though there is no consistent info out there. Considering HMC+ Carbon, ACS-EL, and ACS-15. The ACS ones seem like keepers, long term. Any thoughts for a stab to grow with?

The WIAWIS comes with internal dampener material throughout their entire length. (Like a noodle)

But yes, optional external end dampener fitted between weights and far end of bar, will feel like a whole less vibration.

Good review. I'm looking to get some stabilisers but don't live anywhere near a shop to test any. Did you try any more mid to high range stabilisers and find any you like? Thanks!

Wait, you can add dampers? How about other stabilizers that does not come with dampers? Can you add to them to?

Stephen... If you come to the UK.
You'd find out, 10 degrees C isnt cold.
People from hot countries have no idea what cold is.
My relative from Aus came to visit, we was sat outside in shorts n t-shirts. he didnt take his jacket and hat off, he was sat shivering all the time he was here. Wuss.

Moved to Qld from UK 20 years ago. First ‘winter’ here I spent wearing t shirt and shorts, people thought I was mad. Now I’m like the rest of them, anything below 15° is cold. Mind you, I can happily keep working in temperatures that’d kill the average Pom.

I've lived in parts of Qld that hit sub zero temps at night in winter, which IS cold when its windy.
Prior I lived in Sydney, and back then I thought 15°C was freezing.
So much for the "sunshine state".
