I work for myself for years, now I work for someone else and it can be miserable sometimes. I don’t mind working but working for someone and no days off and getting very little respect is not worth it!
Thats why I've been driving trucks for over 20 years. It used to be for the freedom and the pay. You still have the freedom to a certain point but the pay has shifted completely in the last couple of years. People that driving trucks is easy. Especially these days. It's a lot to deal with. James, Norberis, I have never been afraid of work; but I do understand why some people just don’t want to work. I don’t agree; but I do understand. Having a nine to five in the US is terrible. These employers want to get blood out of pumpkin. My opinion. I can’t tell you how much I am counting the day to retirement. I work for a company that's been in the news alot lately. It's bad there, my health has been going downhill since I started there due to the stress. I've been working for the last 30 years and I love being able to provide and afford a lifestyle. But I'm beginning to see that it's not worth the price.
