He was probably happy to sign the release or agreement but when it comes down to paying half the cost, they are usually short on money. It can be complicated when you have many neighbors willing to pay half since there is usually 3 neighbors and to collect from them all and paperwork, etc.

The way I understand those mushroom style rebar caps at least here is, the ones you are using are fine for what you’re using them for to prevent cuts and abrasion. The bigger square style OSHA requires to stop impalement when there are workers above rebar sticking up. Nice start to the wall.

Why even have a wall between the two buildings? Makes it much harder to paint the walls on both sides and pretty much renders the space useless? It would have been better for both home owners to leave that space vacant, shared storage or? Just my opinion, great work.

Only one of those 20 guys knew how to dig a trench, a simple trench, and that is their supposed field of passion. What has become of us. I always thought learning to dig post holes and simple trench happened for most guys about when they learned to ride bikes and help with the dishes.

Teach them to break topsoil with pickaxes. Once you hit sandy/silty soil it's a breeze to spade/shovel out. Saves time and doesn't make them look like idiots. Shorten the handles too or teach them to grab towards the tip not the end for leverage. Why the bags if they're doing groundwork? Lol at hardhat too.
