Definitely looking into making sliders but not sure if we want to market that as we don't have the space to mass produce and stock something of that size. Same with the roof racks.
@@Garage23 makes sense. I ended up getting a cheap roof rack off Amazon and DIYing some mounts. for rock sliders, I am looking at 4xInnovations - supposedly the 95-04 Double Cab Tacoma sliders will fit the Gen 2 Armadas - I don't have access to tubing otherwise I would totally make something custom
Great video! Looks like you guys had an awesome time. Your Armada is looking sweet and performing well. I’m slowly building mine and will be looking into your control arms down the road! Keep up the content!
Hey, awesome stuff, man! The control arm is really sweet, I remember watching your old videos about it, I got a 1st Gen Armada 4x4 and I've found that a lot of the suspension components are the same on the 2nd Gen's, the vehicles pretty much look the exact same underneath! You could look into marketing the rear control arms to 1st Gen Armada people too, I'm about 100% sure that those are the same part, you can cross reference the part number and also the aftermarket control arms to check for sure! Looks exactly the same. Also I really like the roof rack and the whole build!
Thanks so much! Yeah we are in fact marketing the arms as applicable to 2004 to 2024 Armada, Q56 and QX80. They are all the same. It's quite the cost cutting on Nissans part 😅
Wow, been a while since I've checked in, I think the prototype was just being made last time I looked. I've forgotten everything I ever looked up about lifting these things. I have two armadas now and would like to make one of them a decent trail machine. From your website it looks like the rear uppers pretty much fit everything and correct the crap camber when you lift them, but do you have an opinion on what lift components are going to work the best with the new arms?
Hey thanks for checking in! Any suspension lift that lands you around 39” of ride height at the rear fender on 35s would probably be best as that’s what ours happens to be and that’s what they were designed around. A bit under or over is fine as I tried to allow the oem eccentric bolts to have a usable range again as opposed to just being maxed out.
@Garage23 I haven't seen anything on that, would be nice, but thinking either swapping in a solid axle out of an Xterra or Armada swapping the rear suspension.
How about making arms for the R51 Pathfinder in the US? I believe there is a LARGE base for these trucks that have lifted it and can't find an easy fix to correct the rear alignment.
I live by the wigwam resort and my mom lives off jackrabbit for like 12 years and I go off-roading everywhere but for some reason never heard of this trail. I have a pretty built out rzr pro ultimate trail car and we usually do white tanks at night but don’t know where any else out here. We always go up north
I really want to remove my steps also but I’ve noticed a strong correlation between that and seat cushion longevity 😅 really need to work on some rock rails
Using ATRAC will get you thru those parts you got stuck on and also get you up that hill climb without having to "send it" up. Just give it some steady, low RPMs and ATRAC will kick in and get you through. Also it woulda prevented that meteor lol.
@@dimwitrj it was my first time out, I was new to off-roading, I've learned a lot now. And now know to to use the truck to do most of the work. Thanks for the tip 🤙🏼
Understand the skipping of obstacles. I have a fairly capable truck, but it has to take me home too. I cant push it too much because of that.
sweet!! loving the Armada content. not gonna lie though, I held my breath at 11:31 when that rock hit your step - have you thought about rock sliders?

Beautiful sight seeing the trail whale just handling business!!!!!
Very unsuspecting trail, super happy we tried it out 💪

It's been super fun! Thanks for the support🙏
Seeing you guys have fun out there makes me want to work on the bronco.
We need to do a trip with all the Garage 23 fam, just need to peer pressure Joie into buying an Armada 😃

Nissan 4 ever. Do you sell terrano parts?
Not at the moment but definitely something we could look into. They have similar issues with alignment after a coil lift right?

Do you have skid plates?
Not at the moment but that is something we are looking into
Where is this in AZ?
It’s on the west side south of Buckeye
Seeing the rear control arms almost tempts me to armada swap the rear of my r51 pathfinder.
There was someone that was making similar arms for the R51 but haven’t heard anything recently about it.
@Garage23 I haven't seen anything on that, would be nice, but thinking either swapping in a solid axle out of an Xterra or Armada swapping the rear suspension.

I believe one of our followers was taking that on, i forgot what their user name was but if that doesn’t pan out it is something we will look into.
Love the Armada soo much. Wish I didn't need to get better MPG's.
The Armada gets better gas mileage than most of my other vehicles 😅
@@Garage23 Nice!! I ened up with the Ecodiesel Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and its averaging 26MPG mixed.... Hard to beat.
I wonder if this lower control arm works on the first gen 2012 titan .
Unfortunately no. It’s a rear upper control arm, and titans have solid axle rears
@@Garage23thanks. Will this control arm work on a 2008 Pathfinder V8?
We're is this trail
It’s south of buckeye in Arizona

31s and took the steps off of my 09 Pathfinder. It is fine, minus the fact that it needs an LSD.

@Garage23 my seat already had a tear.
This day was so much fun! And the armada handle it all like nothing! Sorry for almost hitting the camera girl with a meteor ☄️😬
I should put a helmet on her 🤣
