It was good news & bad news for my parish. Good news was my parish is staying open which I've always known because of the history it has. The bad news was one of the priest's who's been at my parish for 8 years is leaving. He got choked up in emotions when announcing it Saturday. All I can say for me is I can finally breathe now that it's over because it's the only church close to my house that I can easily walk to. My uncle has some friends who live in & go to churches where my family lives & their parishes are being merged into mine so that's a little sad for them.
Wow. Memorial Day weekend you took time away from your cats to come here and make a comment like that. Too bad. You could be washing that 2005 Subaru. I know it's difficult washing around all those bumper stickers, but you've got the time.
