It's just because he's kind of a one burst wonder. His ult isn't the shortest CD and it's what makes him so powerful and his W is kinda unreliable sometimes. His stun is fantastic though..(this is coming from a guy who used to main veigar)

t translate for those that dont know veiger, if he last hits a minion with his Q he gets 1 ap. if he should kill an enemy champs with and dmg source then the lvl of his Q is added to his ap and there is no limit to how much ap he can gain from his Q

this very point about infinitely stacking AP is what gave me the idea of building ad carry veiger and still stacking a crap tonne of ap due to his q.......oh dear god the damage output

And how can you possibly be certain of that? Phreak constantly mispronounces champion names, and otherwise Riot seems to make no official statement as to how the names are properly pronounced. So, unless you've found some sort of hidden pronunciation key, Veigar could be Vee-gar, Vye-gar or Vay-gar, for all we know...

The magic damage buff by 20% for 2(maybe 3) seconds almost makes up for the nerf. Still viable.
