I really appreciate all the awesome comments, this one took a lot and it feels a little risky to make something from scratch and not rely on already funny content so the fact that people enjoy it enough to leave a comment means a lot to me. Thanks guys 'n' gals!
That was so smooth - I recognised all the quotes from both the sources but they still fitted so well together! I'd press the subscribe button if I hadn't beforehand...
It would have been really funny if he actually had it on the island. But than he figures out he has to shoot it onto a surface to begin with he realizes he's still stuck on the island shooting it around.
IF he did open the package to get the portal gun. to escape the island he would have to shoot the moon. quickly go through a d make another portal on the moon. then shoot the earth and hope you hit something. then force you're way back through the portal.
The problem with being in space without a suit is less the oxygen and more the pressure difference. His blood would being to boil immediately upon entering the portal. Literally.
It would take a force applied to the solar plexus to force enough air from your lungs to empty them, which fairly cripples a person till they can then fill them back up. A thoroughly unpleasant experience. 16-19 Km from the earth's surface the lack of atmospheric pressure causes water to boil at human body temperature. While you could definitely survive a short time, in the only recorded instance (to my knowledge) of a human being exposed to such conditions the subject lost consciousness very quickly. Your blood will not boil till your heart stops, however, as the pressure maintained within your body is sufficient to raise the boiling temperature. Exposed liquids will boil near instantly though. As you say, you might last a few seconds before losing consciousness, but to be able to use the portal gun and force your way into the portal against the massive pressure coming out would be impossible in that time or possibly even at all. EDIT: Typos
Eh, I've not really studied much space stuff. This is what I gathered in a few minutes of internet research to be fully honest. However, the problem still arises that the pressure difference between the moon and the earth would make it physically impossible to go from the moon to the earth.
The pressure problem is more like what divers get if they ascend too quickly, expanding the Nitrogen in their bloodstream. The "boiling" would be painful, but it wouldn't cook his insides. There would be enough oxygen to last him about 10 or 15 seconds before losing conciousness. However, you must always remember that without a suit or an atmosphere, the sun is a deadly laser. With all these factors combined, he has better chances in the ocean.
Maybe, He's stuck on an island and doesn't realize that the box he had the whole time contains the portal gun. In the movie he keeps a box to deliver in order to maintain his sanity however he also ends up talking to a volley ball, obviously it never talks back but here iv place voice lines from Wheatley to make that happen. (brilliant movie though i recommend it)

How did Wheatley get there? did he roll from space to earth and landed on the cast away island
Hahahah this is great
Like, like, like, like, LIKE!!
Why does that like button not work.
SPAAAAAAAAACCCCCCEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
No flat white surfaces though.
In Portal 2 you learn what the surface has to be made of/with to work properly as a portal surface :)
3/🍌 no squeaky pipes.
I pressed the sub because a potato told me to.
Some say, he was once a squid
It's not like he could have used it... you need to set BOTH ends of the portals. he wouldn't be able to leave the island to put down a portal.

did you hire Stephen Merchant for this animation? Where were those voice lines taken from?
i dont understand this at all. do you have to have watched castaway in order to understand this?

ohh and the joke is that he never though of looking in the box. and that he could have used the gun to get off. i get it now XD
I pressed the button
