Great job, Meghan! So, relaxing, for me anyway! Never done the brine, usually butter all over the outside and inside and apples and oranges inside the turkey with onions and garlic! Hope your sister had a wonderful dinner with her fam! God bless, ❤
This was the very first Megan Birch video that I watched. I love your Costco and Sam's Club videos a lot!!! I absolutely loved this video!!!! I remember when I was much younger, helping my dear Mom make Thanksgiving dinner. Watching this video brought a little tear to my eyes. But it was a happy tear because it reminded me of a time when Mom and I could enjoy the holiday together. I miss my Mom so much, but I'm so thankful for her love and teaching me some things in the kitchen 😅. Your kitchen is really beautiful!!! Your appliances are top notch!! My kitchen is terrible, lol. It's a little smaller than a college dorm kitchen. The widest part of the counter, is 7 inches. So for the last 4 years, I've been buying the ready made Thanksgiving Dinner with all the sides. It was good, but nothing like your delicious looking fresh meal!!! I'm so very glad I found your channels, Megan!!! You make my life a lot happier, it's hard sometimes being alone. Especially around the holidays. Wishing you and your family, the best Christmas and Happy New Year!! Aloha, Kenny
Oh my stars! So glad I’m on with your vlog channel now.. glad I was sitting down when, not only did you laminate your recipes… But you have a prepping schedule?! Megan, you are my hero!
I pray everyday for the Ukrainian people and to give them peace and strength. 🙏🏻 My mother in law emigrated to the USA during WW11 from Ukraine as well as my father in law and my mother and my grandparents from Germany and my father and his parents from Hungary all during the 1930’s. Peace be with you.
Very nice dinner. I like to put softened butter under the skin to keep that delicate meat moist. Also when you were cutting your mirepoix you didn’t say if you saved the peels and put in a bag and freeze them for later to make your own veggie broth. I do this all the time and also with chicken bones. They are so healthy! And it’s a step towards not wasting! ❣️ And my neighbors love when I bring them a container. Also didn’t see you make giblets gravy. That was my job as a little girl. Xoxo
Meghan love the whole preparation video got a bunch of little clues. Got to see you always nice and the fam. Sending you blessings, prayers, much love, and a great big hug.❤🙏
Hi I love watching the pioneer woman I enjoy her cooking. I use summer savoury breadcrumbs onions and chicken stock I’m my stuffing sometimes I add cranberries to give it that extra deliciousness. Wow your brine looks yummy and all your dinner absolutely delicious looking congrats on a great job. Happy Thanksgiving from Toronto Canada
I did a butter, and garlic herb all over the turkey and it sat in my fridge for a day it was delish. Making a turkey soup tomorrow your family is beautiful I laughed out loud when you said all about that bass about that bass I cooked all the sides the night before an cooked the turkey around 12pm it all went very smooth this year to .Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving your amazing Meg.
I definitely know that trick. 😊 a few times I left the heat on too high when I was making cranberry sauce. It was a user mistake that no spoon would’ve stopped. 😂😊
Love your videos, always watch your Aldi one's too especially! I seen that white spoon you're using to make the cranberry stuff and that is the kind of spoon I've been looking for, short handle and flat spoon edge! Can you tell me where I can get one like that??? Wish you and your family a great Christmas and New Year.
I've had brined turkey, fried turkey, smoked turkey (did not care for smoked), roasted turkey, and finally, Traeger turkey (which is NOT the same as smoked, it's very similar to roasted). Traeger and roasted are my favorite. The brine didn't really make a difference, IMO. My favorite is my Granny's dressing, and southern fried corn, and fried okra.

The first one! Wow that's great, thank you. Happy tears are always wonderful.
Forgot to mention that I add one jar of orange marmalade to the cranberries and only 1/2 cup of sugar. Easy and yummy!!!
Can’t believe how calm and easy going you are! I’d be running around like a mad woman!
Me too 😂
Oh believe me I can do that too, lol.
Mmmm! I could just taste it! Great video Meghan! As always!

Agreed! Never inside the turkey.
That was fun. 😊
Love a brine, but my hubby loves to smoke our turkey and that's what I prefer, now. :) This year we smoked a ham and turkey and they were sooo good!

Hey Meghan! 👋💗 I have never brined my turkey but I make a turkey now and then throughout the year! Sooo my next one yes! 👍🏻👍🏻🙏
I hope you love you!
Your family is hilarious. I bet your turkey is heavenly. And sweet potato pie is my jam. I like my dressing more moist than dry.😊
Sweet potato pie is one thing I haven’t tried. I should do that sometime.
@ It's just as easy as pumpkin. Actually, you can use the same spices. 😘🤭

Everything looks great!!!
Meghan, no one has ever told you about putting a wooden spoon across the top of your pot to stop overflows. It works i do it all the time!
I definitely know that trick. 😊 a few times I left the heat on too high when I was making cranberry sauce. It was a user mistake that no spoon would’ve stopped. 😂😊

George is a Mini Aussiedoodle
Your meal looks absolutely amazing. Hope it was as good as it looked. Happy Holidays!❤❤❤❤
Thanks! It was delicious.
I cooked 4 turkeys each one had a little diff taste and they were awesome
My mom only used cinnamon in her pumpkin pie. She thought the other spices were overpowering; needless to say it’s the way I make pumpkin pie, too
We’re all thinking alike! Less is more!
We put ours in a cooler overnight. . Than put it outside.not a pail 🪣
Do you put apples in your cranberry sauce delicious.❤😊
I don’t. I bet it would be good!
Hey Meghan I’m new to this channel I enjoyed the video
