this is so true. i think about this a lot. it actually makes me so uncomfortable that creators are so quick to judge the creative process or the choices that other more successful creators make regarding how much they share with their fans or trying to put out a positive image by keeping the negative off their channel. some of them try so hard to keep the wall between them and their fans down as low as they can but with people always shitting all over anything they share whether it be genuine and vulnerable or completely fabricated/sponsored there's no way they can do that without taking a hit personally. sometimes it's like a lot of creators and fans forget that people on youtube are still actually human beings. i like that you make opinionated videos like this. i doubt you're the only one who feels this way but i rarely ever see anyone talk about it, because so many of them are busy being part of that problem. :/

it is so important! and i absolutely sympathize with creators who are too scared to put things like this on their channel for fear of being seen as too opinionated, especially the bigger ones whose income can be directly impacted by expressing their personal thoughts. i'm not a big creator but even i would have trouble uploading something like this and you do a lot of videos that focus on more opinion driven topics, which i heavily respect. i really like that you're filling that gap of people who can be real online while also not being a moron. you're so welcome! don't ever stop :)
Yaaaas! I think your point about people who have similar sub counts is very valid. Like, they're going to face the same difficulties and issues in life and/or on the platform. Likelihood is those UA-camrs have been friends for years anyway. Really enjoyed this, Kim! :)
