A-1 as always! Two of those were very close to my fusion core, as the first cave you show is where I first made camp all those years ago. And the bog town tunnel was where i made my first fallout friend: he saw my higher level when visiting my camp, on a lake near big bend tunnel, asked if i could help with his and discovered a great campsite. Before the last dlc I loved the Harpers ferry tunnel area.
I am always suprised how friendly the Fallout Comunity is. I have gotten a lot of the Rare and Wonderfull Blueprints from Players for free that Just came by my camps while i was building them.
The site near Lake Eloise has some upsides and some downsides. In addition to the acid pool in the cave, there is a lead vein on the plateau almost directly above it. If you are VERY careful and place your CAMP device exactly halfway down the cliff, it's just barely possible to get both of those into your vertical build limit. The downside is that a lot of experienced players know about this site, so be prepared for a lot of "your CAMP cannot be placed" messages as you spawn in -- best to have a backup CAMP built in a secondary slot.
@@kikibplays If people wanted “vanilla” they would not run around post-war Appalachia shooting Super Mutants with railway rifles while dressed as bunnies. Just sayin’… 😂
3:56 I once built in there but half of the Camp-budget had to be invested in rugs and mats to glitch stuff in there. Without them all items slipped upwards through the ceiling amd then stood on top of the hill.
I've managed to build some foundations in that last spot you showed. It took a wee bit of finagling, but there is still one foundation which won't place. I've used it to hide my generator. -shrug- It's handy for that, at least.
It can be tough, I agree. In general, if you're having trouble placing items in an existing structure or underground, try making a blueprint of just that item and placing it. It usually fixes the problem. If not, you can place it on a small rug and that will almost always do the trick.
Would be cool. Impossible as it stands though. The dead zone around camps is too large to permit building a community, also circles don't fit together as nicely as squares. Build areas should have been square.
Hi kiki great video. I built a little bunker in with the terrain on the spot directly east of the haven church it was very difficult to get the correct foundation for placements and needed to stack my workbenches in order for them to fit inside and built around the entrance making a little trades post before you walk in other than that very goo welcoming spot
I "had" a camp in the cave with the acid extractor but now it will not let me activate it. I had it for a year and now says it is blocked. I loved that camp lol
That just means someone else has their camp or tent there. If you log onto a private world or server hop you should be able to place it again (as long as it isn't taken on that server).
@@kikibplays it even does that on private for some reason. I think I must have clipped something into a wall because it started doing that after the update. It was my fault
I had discovered the train cart area under the land line tower while I was exploring and tried to build a floor above it before finding out that it was impossible. I really want to build there, but the game is very finicky on where I can build things there. If you could give some help or suggestions that would be great! I spent maybe 4 hours trying to build above it and had my friends losing their minds trying to help. I know there were some videos of people building just above the train cars, but I have been unable to replicate it.
Not a problem, it's totally doable without them, it just works a little differently then. You're not the first person to struggle with building here, so I'll work up a short tutorial and upload it next week.
They're really great to have! You can put in a support ticket to Bethesda asking to buy something that's not currently in the shop (make sure you have enough atoms in your account first); most of the time they'll go ahead and add it for you and deduct the atoms.
I built in those two train cars back at release. I wish I had known half the tricks and glitches I know now. I made it functional, but I wanted to do more and FO76 is FO76. With all I know now, I may go back there..
I absolutely love redoing old builds - I'm always finding new ways to improve or change the way I build and it's so satisfying to stand back afterwards and go "Yep, I really knocked it out of the park this time!"
hey if anyone can help me track down a camp would be amazing. it kinda looks like the camp at the end of this video but it has a wall in the center and i dont think theres water inside
It's the Cultist Incarnate Helmet from the Mothman Equinox event. Not sure when the event is running again, but you may be able to buy it from a player vendor in the meantime.
Was wondering if I could add you on playstation and bum around, looking for places to build and stuff. Possibly even getting your help on some builds seeing as I just learned how to merge yesterday thanks to you. Lol
Kiki B plays... Jesus ONLY level 585???? I just passed 100! And technically I’ve been playing since Beta (okay i played the game and dropped it till Wastelanders, played again and dropped till steel reign, played again and dropped until this past march)
I really enjoy your videos and get inspiration from you. I'm curious if you'd go to some of your followers camps and give us a rate? I have 3 locations I always build at due to either function or the view and my camps look like a homestead.

The commentary was wonderful! The mole person spot looks like a pretty comfy base location :3
The narrative was hilarious. I am going to choose either of the last two for me container CAMP.

explosive harpoon guns can move the skeletons, there is also a home under the bridge at camden park

Single item blueprints will often do the trick for placing stuff in those kinds of spaces.

U can't build underneath the cave by the wataga street. it says cannot place camp overlaps an existing build area.
That just means someone else's camp or - more likely - tent is too close by.

Aww that sucks. They changed a few small things with the last update, but I'm surprised it was enough to completely break your camp. Sorry to hear it.
How did you use it btw? Trying to put floors over the acid doesn't work for me, it still deals damage.

One really good cave is in the northwest part of the map just north of the lumber yard. I just built a some what fancy cave camp there the other day.
I'll have to check that out, thanks for sharing!
