Hi Again. Just thought i would put this out there yesterday afternoon i finished working on a older style Rotel Amp RA-820 AX Where by when first run up there was no sound on one channel Turned out to be a O/C Resistor R635 .22ohm 2 watt on the center rail output to speaker but then found the original problem was a bias resistor on base of Q606 had gone open causing all the amp to unbalanced giving a 15 volt dc offset on the output . Replaced all components on both channels ran amp for 10 mins checked bias all ok. I apologize to the gentle of Audio Amp Servicing for putting this on his channel. Kind regards Robert

Why on Earth would a 2014 build integrated from Marantz of this era go bad? 20 years is what we have come to? That's crazy as these were 300 quid at the time (2024 money = 460 quid in 2024. This is NOT cheap stuff and definitely reeks of built in selected low quality components to guarantee Marantz a nice new purchase just 20 years later. It's a disgrace.
