- Our Hummer H2 build was in desperate need of a replacement steering box. The steering box was original to the Hummer and had a lot of slop in it. We replaced the steering box with the the best there is! Hi there I'm in UK and have an 08 h2. I need seal kit but not sure what code number is. Could.you find out if the steering gear boxes are the same as early models. Thanks
Red head steering box which is what I installed, says 2003-2007.

As someone who just bought an H2 I really appreciate your (5*`s Video`s). I wanted to get the steering wheel straighten , watching this Video . I will get 2 opinion. I notice it`s not so noticeable on better roads. Also #Hummer looking for any good places for Honest info .

How long did it take you to bleed the PS lines?
I turn to full lock in both directions about 10-15 times and see how it feels and sounds after that.
What oil goes in the box. Is it just any hydraulic fluid?
Great video man! I was looking forward to an update on the Hummer. You didn't show how you got your steering wheel controls to work with your head unit though

What headlights are those and were they plug and play or did they need mods
I believe this is where I got them.
And they are plug and play other than the halo.

@@Datroothstr8100 yes, I have used redhead on several builds in the past and they are the best in my opinion! It tightened up my steering tremendously!
