Honestly the best recorded grind set I've ever seen in terms of quality, the mix, stage presence and energy from the band and crowd.

Grind will never be what people's first impressions imaginations are. That is because everyone thinks it's just bad riffs and blast beats, in reality there is something called a Chord Progression that Grind artists play to, why they don't sound like total garbage.

The pit is a very funny thing... you get the usual moshing but at the same time I hug strangers, pick up people who felt to the ground, greet friends I haven't seen in a while... goddamn, I miss concerts so much :'(

The pit is a strange place... I was watching Primitive Man and my ears were nearly bleeding as I had stupidly forgotten ear plugs, it was pulling me out of the show...
Then a very awkward young kid standing a few people away from me tapped me on the arm and offered me a pair of earplugs despite me being with my partner and double his age. It was small but wholesome gesture because he must have seen me wincing but still really engaged in the show. I guess it's awesome that despite the overload of stimulus happening at a show people are still aware of the wellbeing of their peers.
I've always come back to this set and I can now say that the crowd vocal at 13:35 is the best I've ever heard. Give that dude a fucking verse.

good question boy... i grew up with converge ,start listen them in 2001, see in montreal twice. but full of hell still kick ass in a modern way.. so right now i would say Dylan , man how he can scream! but Jacob is a hardcore legend so don't forget that!
