I started my journey to financial freedom almost a year ago. I realized that working a 9-5 is not for me at all. I've always had terrible workplace experiences and my educational background isn't exactly useful (tourism management lol). I've been watching all of your POD videos and have been playing around with the Printify uploader tool as well (very cool btw). I've made my initial designs using some SVGs I purchased and I'm taking a look at having AI generate some more. I plan on posting my first designs on Etsy in the next couple of days. Thank you for the straightforward, no BS approach to your videos. Making $10K a month would change my life entirely, so that's what I'm aiming for. 😄

Yep and I bet you are struggling to sell more than 5 a month and you never will. Trust me. Stop listening to this BS merchant 6-8 months learning no-code software, learn a proper skill not something that every fkn man and his dog are doing even more so now with AI.

just a video idea but maybe you could ask viewers for their etsy shops and provide some critique for our shop that arent performing well
I started doing this 1 year ago I wasted months creating listing sold a lie by one of these fkn BS merchants. I sold 100's of T-shirts on Teepublic and Redbubble and I still do but its such low fucking ticket I never make more than $100. So sad watching people fall for this BS. You want to know how I REALLY made money. It was simple I stopped chasing sales on page 10,000, sacrificing so much time listening to BS merchants like this c&^%t. I started learning no-code software development 6 months intense studying now i make 10000s od dollars a month seling HIGH TICKET software in BLUE OCEAN, not fkn massively over saturated BS print on demand. Alex dude you should be ashamed of yourself truly.

I could really use some help because when I try to put my iban to make an etsy shop it says that it's not in its expected format (which I suppose is with spaces in every 4 digits but even when I do that it puts it all back together as one) and I don't know how to fix it and it won't let me set up my shop if i don't do this
Maybe you can help with a question I’ve had but can’t find the answer to? Can I switch fulfillment methods once an order has come in? If I have a shirt that is set up to go to Printify, can I basically say nevermind, I can fulfill this myself?

Hello, I just started following you. I joined your Discord group and downloaded the product uploader application. I introduced myself on Discord and posted a question about locating the mug template. Next thing I knew, some guy contacted me through the voice lounge telling me how I should get off Etsy and tried to sell me his service to create a website. All I wanted was a little help locating the mug template you spoke about in one of your videos. Honestly, it was kind of creepy.
Always have to watch out for shady folks. Report the user and have one of the mods ban him
Please show how to do the taxes portion of setting up your shop. Do we need a resale certificate/ retail license number?

I have been glued to your videos for some time now, but I still have one question. I tried reaching out on IG but how would one get in contact to ask a question? I think I may be confusing POD with ETSY and the mockups. If I make my mockups and put them on ETSY, that isn't POD. But if I create the mockups on Printify and "publish" it will be POD from ETSY, correct? Does that make sense?
I might be mistaking the question you are asking. You use Printify to create the POD products. They have the tools for you to create and save the designs to their system. It also creates mockups of each product you design. When you "publish" the product to Etsy (Printify lets you do it in their system with one click, and is great since it puts in all the size and color options with the correct SKU numbers for you) you can have it include the mock-ups if you like theirs. If you have created other mock-ups in Canva or Place-it...or where ever, you can opened the listing in Etsy and upload your new mock-ups. Just make sure if you make any changes in Printify and republish from there, that you turn OFF the option to upload the Printify mock-ups or they replace the ones you put in. I hope that answers what you asked.

Pain is a necessary step for growth, and this is also true for business. I'm struggling a lot trying to apply your tips in Brazil, as Etsy is not available here, and we're still struggling with on-demand services. There are very few platforms that offer the service, fewer suppliers that deliver to Brazil, products are expensive, shipping rates are very high, not to mention delivery times. 😢
Maybe you should try selling to different countries, like the USA? That way, you wouldn't have to worry about the shipping rates etc. 😁
I would still have to find an alternative for Etsy, though. I have considered the alternative, but considering how unexplored the Brazilian market is, I'm still looking into other options and partnerships. 😅

Hi Alek, have you noticed with students from around the world if it is as likely to reach the $10k income level in countries with a lot less population than the USA. Example Australia 25m versus US 330m. Is there any stats you can share please?
I think that regardless of where you live, you can sell world-wide, so local population doesn't matter

Watch the etsy consultant. Alek started his shops I covid times, so so much easier to do etsy...now it's not easy at all
No one buys those print on demand stuff and the competition is so high. It’s a scam to use his referral codes

The older I get, the more I feel sorry for the next generations that have to wade through all this crap before they can get to any relevant information. Makes you feel like going through all these YTubers claims like a coffeezilla type. I was hoping they Alex who owns this channel or at least I think he owns the channel to come on and say no guys I’m not click baiting on or repeating the same information each year. We needs to help each other more rather than seeing each other as a view / subscriber / way to monetise.

You should do that as an experiment and see how it works out. You could even document everything for a UA-cam video to post
@@sandos101I mean this is doable I started a shop in 2023 and grew it to 6 figures in less than a year. If I could do that in 2023 a new shop in 2024 could certainly do it.

@@angeliqueteague9092 Hello! So I did not pay for ads right away. I wanted to get my seo tactics down before I ran to much ads. I think the most I ran was 10 dollars a day but during 4th quarter I did raise that bar a bit since orders were flying in so it was worth raising my daily spend.
