Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are alot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.

Life = nothingness. You wont remember anything you do so just do what makes you happy for the time being, before the dark comes. Poor, rich, friends, family you won't remember any of it. Religion is just a mental comfort humans have made to help cope with the unknown. Just live people like you have one life and one life only.

YOU DON'T BUY A MANSION, OR A BUNCH OF CARS. THOSE ARE PORTALS TO MONEY LOSS!!!! YOU DO IT ALL BY YOURSELF! YOU HAVE ONE NICE SUIT! ONE NICE CAR THAT IS STRICTLY FOR GOING TO AND FROM THE PLACE THAT MAKES YOU MONEY! YOU SPEND EVERY WAKING MOMENT YOU CAN MAKING EVEN ONE MORE DOLLAR, AND YOU DO IT UNTIL YOU KEEL OVER! There's no point in having friends if you don't have money. Just as there is no point in hanging out with losers with a loser mindset in life. Inflation is gradually becoming a part of our lives, and as a result, any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account loses value each year. Unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way for most people to ever have enough money to retire.

I have wonderful children that keep me rich in love. I am rich in joy, seeing my children succeed and excel in getting their priorities right. Money is so far down my priority list that I literally feel no stress because I work and earn whatever it is I earn and I pay what bills I can pay. I'm not losing time with my loved ones to work longer to earn more so that I have no time to stop to smell the roses. It's the roses that I love. Seeing my grandkids hit their first home run or catch their first touchdown. Seeing my daughter get her college degree that she's proud of because she worked for it and earned it. I’ve never made dans type of money, but I’ve done ok. His message is work, work, work until you’re dead. No thanks. I’ve done that at times, and yes it did help me out, but it was out of necessity, not for life.
I know people who’ve done things his way and regretted it. All the money in the world can’t bring back missing your kids childhoods etc. and the problems they tend to have after having an absent father.
I’ve started taking the odd day off. I’ve gone and played pool with my dad, who’s now getting scarily old. It’s worth so much more than that day at work would’ve been when I look back.
Success isn’t all about money. Yes you have to work hard in life, but have some balance and be successful in all areas, including relationships with those you love, would be my advice. And there’s nothing wrong with my self esteem either.

Yes I agree. Value isn't just defined by money. Memories and quality moments are also important in life, what you do for you family, friends community as well as work. High performers do often work long relentless hours, and prioritise their work in life, however they are making a sacrifice that they deem to be the best option. Your day to day wellbeing should also be some level of success, do you feel in control of your life? Are you confident? Are you optimistic? If I earn loads but die/become ill at 60 because I've stressed myself out too much and burned the candle at both ends, what's the point? Moderation/Temperance is a virtue.

To each their own, if you want to work yourself to death feel free. I prefer to avoid heart disease and put a premium on spending time with loved ones, my family. Those moment missed working can never be replaced. You can have those memories for a lifetime they can never be stolen from you but your money that you earned while missing those special times can be stolen in a blink of an eye and then you can spend your days regretting missing a child's ball game where he did something special because you had to work and the money you made working is now gone because the market crashed or your home was robbed or someone tech savvy stole your retirement money in some cyber crime. It’s great to be ambitious, super focused, disciplined and busy but this is also amazing to have few friends by your side who are more like brothers who got also serious goals as you and help to elevate each other by doing active trainings, mma, gym and support each other in good and bad days without jealousy but pure intentions helping each other’s family.
