+Artem Smirnov indeed what Max said. The width is needed for the extra low carving to not boot out. Most the tricks I could do on a normal 'wide' board tho.
Neil Gendzwill oh thats interesting! We don't have a lot of hardboot riders around here! I personally like riding groomers with only pencil line marks compared to tracked out bumpy runs, but I did not know the hardboot riders can go that deep! Sounds like fun tho
With all this wide and smooth "Superhighways", i really start to wonder why it´s called Eurocarve. Yeah, in France they got "Highways" too....but not like this. Guess the Yanks just missed to claim it like they did with freestyle. ;-)
This is by far the best snowboarding channel on youtube. Thanks for all the amazing content Ryan!
I like so much your facial expression after words "Let's make some turns". It's always the same: anticipation of something incredible, every time.
ryan what width board would you recommend to start carving with, im like an american size 12 boot
RobinHoodUKIP Same question with a us13, 32,9 cm long (Burton slx)
RobinHoodUKIP your going to want a pretty wide board and/or steep binding angles
saw that van at aspen highlands today and wondered if you were shredding there...
Great stuff. Music?
Ryan just a little question - could u ride non-wide snowboard with same style? All that beutiful carves and tricks?
Artem Smirnov probably not as well, I think he uses a wide snowboard so his bindings don't boot out when he's taking those wide euro carves.

Wow such a wide slopes there, and almost no people. How fast these guys go on Bomber?
Always so entertaining... Keep it up
really nice place and great vid!!!
want to get together and ride any of the 4 mountains while you are here?
vpacolis you can find the ATC schedule here: www.trenchinconvention.com/atc/. They have hardboot demo gear if you are interested in trying it out.
sideslip brotherhood :D 6:29
If Ryan was dead that'd be a tribute to him. Imagine 50 people doing this at the same time :D
yeah but rather do that and have him alive at the same time ;)
What a video!!!
Quality!
those hard boots do look fun
Imagine if everyone rides like this... the slopes are gonna be so much better at the end of the day :D
Rafi Ramadhan actually the hard booters leave such deep trenches that the locals complain.

7:25 his clothes r so fucking awesome!!! where to get it?
There was a party and I wasn't invited?!
Hi Ryan, what gimbal are you using here, again?
+Colin de Silva this would have been the Zhiyun z-1 evolution. Nowadays if gimbal footage it's either that or the crane-m.
Thanks. I seem to have rotten luck with Gimbals, first the PilotFly now the Feiyu WG. Horizon drift problems. Yours seems to be rock solid.
Dude, try some hardboots on your current board, while you're there:P And tell us the result:P
Should said corduroy can't be fun?!
*who
Groovy groomers
