In 1st Thessalonians chapter 4: 16-17 it says..... And the Lord himself shall descend from heaven on a cloud, with a shout, with the voice of the Ark Angel and the trump of God. And the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we who are alive and remain shall be caught up to meet Him in the air.
Beautiful Country Rockin’ 🙏🏽🎤🎵🎸🎶🙇🏻♀️ Hymn. Molly Skaggs sings this powerfully, and it resonates with eternal hope we believers have in our Salvation. When tough times occur and hardships are happening all around we find comfort, peace, and hope in our Eternal Life in Christ Jesus. Thank you for posting this Reaction. I absolutely admire your openness to every kind of genre. 🙇🏻♀️🙏🏽❤️🔍🌪🕊
Hi India, so glad you reacted to this!!! This is my favorite version of this song and it is one of my favorite songs of encouragement. Ain't NO grave, no matter how bad it seems. I have never heard Johnny Cash sing this and didn't know he wrote it. I'd love for you to react to it. Love you, as always, sweet girl :)
I think I mentioned this awhile back!! So excited for you to listen to it. She is the daughter of bluegrass/ country singer Ricky Skaggs. I think the song is a powerful song and she has a powerful voice!
She is beautiful and talented. If Ricky Scaggs is her father she has the best teacher around. I am sure she will be here to stay for a long time. Love to hear more of her soon. You need to check out her Dad, anything by him is absolutely great.
India, I’ve watched MANY of your reactions, and love the job that you do with them all! Please correct me if I’m wrong, but this reaction to Bethel Music as well as your reaction to Third Day, are so purely sincere, and I see something deeply connecting inside of you! I simply would like to encourage you to read the first gospels of the New Testament! They will answer and clarify anything that you may want to understand more about! You have such a sweet spirit and love your emotional freedom! Many people would be much more passionate about life if they had even a small bit of that which flows from you! Blessings, keep up the great job!
My soul is eternal. It has been washed clean in the blood of the perfection of Jesus, God made flesh. In Him I stand, by grace thru faith I am saved, found worthy to be reconciled to the most holy God. Not because of anything I did, but solely thru faith in Jesus. When God looks at me, He sees His son, and all of my sin is as far is the east is from the west.
India this is Originally by Claude Ely. try the version with Jamie Wilson on the Southern Gospel Revival. Back story is this song was written by 12 year old Ely Claude. At the time it was thought he was on his deathbed and friends and family had gathered to pray for him. In the midst of it he awakened and sang a version of this song, thought to be divinely inspired. Also on the Southern Gospel Revival two more great songs, Welcome Table and Take your Shoes off Moses. They will bless you.
The “original” is from Claud Eli from 1937 … and I’m sure there were versions before that as hymns were passed down generations before someone actually published them .
Ooh! Nice modern rendition of a traditional. Hadn't heard this one yet, but I like it... I know the song by heart, from Johnny Cash's and Sister Rosetta's takes on it. You might wanna check them out as well. Both very different, but awesome in their own right. As is this version.

I have always loved this version; ua-cam.com/video/py_mHp1g0Bo/v-deo.html A much shorter song and bit more upbeat with a killer banjo solo. This was used as the end credits music for Season 1 Episode 12 · 'You'll Be the Death of Me' from the series "True Blood".

@@wearinganapron Yeah but Jesus never went to hell. He went to Earth. Hell is described as " ...the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels" Matthew 25:41 No where does it say, in the Bible, that Jesus went to Hell.
@@humbleclay79 I know what you mean. Some doctrines do teach that, though . . . in the Apostle's Creed, where most say "he descended to the dead," some say "he descended into hell," and it is based on some apocalyptical (possibly apocrypha, or maybe from Revelations, I do not know) writings about his taking the good news to the languishing spirits in the kingdom of the dead, and taking the keys to the kingdom before he rose from the dead. Stuff I heard years ago, and I am not remembering the details . . . just the gist of it. I have been at a church service or two where I was taken by surprise with the change in the Creed. It was startling. : )

P.s. our girl in the middle, getting her praise dance on Big Time!!!
Saved before death. After death it's too late.
that's the gospel of Jesus
wow, I love Johnny Cash's version - much more simple in the lyrics, but this version in my opinion tops his!
You absolutely have to listen to Johnny Cash‘s version of the song his version is absolutely the best!
