    Thank you, as a new full-time, over-time caregiver I really needed this. Your positivity is impressive because some days ...... not feeling so positive. But this really helped 😊

    What a great video! I loved this. (a PDF would be great too by the way for a skills assessment!) I wrote down many of these to boost my confidence and to maybe use in future resume!

    I feel I have no help with my parents. My brother's don't help at all, it is just me. My mom is in a Assisted Living facility and I go every day to see her. I am very tired mentally and emotionally.

      Make sure to find time for yourself. Embrace your feelings, and then let them go. If you pray, pray when you notice you’re getting overwhelmed. If you aren’t feeling calm take a few breaths and pray again focusing on your words to quite your racing thoughts. I’m in your shoes sort off however my mother is married to my dad who has NPD . He doesn’t want to do anything so I am stepping up to care for her. You’re not alone Sis. I hope this helps ❤🥲💪🏾

      @@yourtutorvaschnijust curious, why do you need to go every day. I ask bc my mom is in that level of care and I'm trying to let the facility care for her. I'm extending time between visits to start to get back to my life and allow her to adjust to her new one.

      @@gosiak3267 I went every day because the medical system in the USA is primarily about money. So even if you have some well-natured practitioners you are dealing with some who just look at you as a number or have become numb to the sanctity of life. My mom's health declined so fast that I didn't have a chance to a chance to pace myself either. So I turned to prayer for inner peace. Unfortunately, My mother passed shortly after. She went from functional to dead in 31 days exactly. I don't want this to end on a sad note. Continue to keep account of your mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. Use your sense of self to guide you on how to handle everything. I hope you have the strength and positivity to overcome your situation!

    Do you have a video on sharing thre tole of CEO with a sibling? I am doing so with my sister as she works part time and has 2 young children and a husband. I have availability but get tired easily and can forget things (EF issues due to Autism and Anxiety) as well as older.

      @juliaevans9521 that’s a really great topic…and a tough one! I’ll start thinking about that! Thanks for watching😊
