Yes, it's CLC, the queens of talent. Give them back to us CUBE. As a 10 year old Kpop fan like me, it breaks my heart that so many talented groups are being forgotten.
I don’t even want to imagine the heartbreak you’ve been through in 10 years. I’d be afraid to get too attached to groups after that. I’ve only been here for the disbandment of 2 groups I stan. But yeah, there is such a loss of talent after things like that. I think Yeeun is one of the best female kpop rappers so I really hope she redebuts (preferably not under CUBE 🤢)

CLC is one of the few girlgroups that managed to create their own personality.
Which is precisely why the management hated them...they weren't good little interchangable cogwheels. I think the same happened to f(x).
The rapper is Yeeun and God is she one of the best rappers ever. She trained with the help of L.E. and Hyuna

The queens! I absolutely love CLC (stands for cristal clear) and I got into them almost immediately when I discovered kpop fan in 2018. I can't believe how dirty Cube did them. We never even got a lightstick....

Ah CLC....crushed by Cube mismanagement. They kept switching up concepts on them, huge gaps between comebacks and finally left to rot in the Cube dungeon. So sad. Their contracts are up this month so I hope the girls will find other labels. Sorn already has a solo single out (Sharp Objects) which is fantastic. CLC just didn't hit with the Korean public for whatever reason. It's a mystery.
...What's left of it anyway. Yujin is in Kep1er, Elkie got her contract voided and works in China, and Sorn is with Wild Ent already.
They actually had the push on Hobgoblin but suddenly changed to a different concept the next comeback
@@kapitanjisun the funny thing is, Hobgoblin was the type of concept they were trying to debut with. But Cube changed their concept last minute because of 4Minute
Btw Sorn of clc released solo it’s pretty good she produced wrote it herself. It’s called “sharp objects” and sounds ✨sparklyy✨

La vie en rose (by IZONE) was originally for clc and cube sold it to izone. On UA-cam there still is a clc version and let me tell you THEY ATE IT
Hobgoblin was one of my first kpop songs and I love it! If I remember correctly, Hyuna helped with the styling and production which helps explain the 4Minute similarities.
Rapper Yeeun is such a badass on stage but turns into a cinnamon roll off stage. I'd recommend her stuff from Good Girls, even on your own time (Girls Generation Hyoyeon, Ailee, KARD Jiwoo all performed there too) Her solo stages were amazing. I think she was also the first idol to cut her actual hair in a music video which makes Black Dress even more iconic.
Main dancer Seungyeon has done monthly choreographies in the past and shes also done a dance cover with Dreamcatcher Sua.
Eubin is the tall one, maknae, and final member added. She was the one doing the pole dance at the end of Black Dress, has some other pole dance videos, and was on the Produce series with Soyeon
I also highly recommend their cover of SuJu Black Suit.

I absolutely LOVE Me, No, and blackdress. Yeeun is one of my favorite idol rappers too. I seriously can't wait for you to see "Where are You?" MV, it's a complete 180 from their iconic hits but it's an underrated masterpiece, a work of art
To this day I still don't know what the lyrics to the hobgoblins chorus is, but that won't stop me from vibin *every single time it plays*

My faves out of these is probably Devil, Me and Hobgoblin! All CLC tracks are great, a great b-side, I Like It, also has a performance video!
CLC was one of the unluckiest groups in Kpop history. "Devil" was set to get at least one win the first week it was eligible - it had virtually no competition that week and a win was all but assured. But a typhoon hit Korea and all the music shows that week were cancelled.

No is like THE CONCEPT for them, I've never seen again such a mix of badass and chic and girl power, which allows every single one of them to show their color and to shine the most. and the PRODUCTION god that song is still one of my fav EVER in kpop.
it was the perfect evolution from Black Dress and truly their peak (they even had the first win with NO!), it's a pity CUBE didn't let them go on with that vibe and concept.
Anyway, I've always appreciated CLC's productions, so as a little suggestion if you will ever want to listen to some bside of them, the album No1, from which No is the title, is a GEM! I would be curious to know what you'd think of it
Me is my personal favorite. I just love how hard that drop hits in the chorus every time. Also I love yeeun and that’s one of my fave verses from her. But all of these songs are just so good. I love and miss clc. Why cube why

CLC is one of my favorite girl groups ever! They’re super versatile and well rounded, they sing like angels and their dancing is insane!! Their main dancer SeungYeon is one of the best in the industry; as is main vocal SeungHee
Actually, NO is an indirect tease to iz*one because Lavien Rose was intended to be the CLC title track, but unfortunately, Cube ent. sold it to iz*one management despite the fact that they already had choreography and I believe they had even pre-recorded it.

The way Cube promoted CLC is strange. I would check out their mini album Free’sm, the title track was a throwback ballad but the mini show cases all the different sounds CLC has experimented with

CLC is no more. Cube flat out said they will no longer be promoting CLC as a group. Sorn has signed with another company, Elke sued the company and left and Yujin is in Kep1er. If I'm not mistaken, the contracts for the remaining members expire this month.
So, yeah, for all intents and purposes CLC has disbanded.

CLC are THAT group honestly I love their music so much (especially their album free'sm)! Yeeun is the rapper you pointed out and she was in a very fun music show called Good Girl (Hyoyeon also starred in that show among other cool women). I hope you check out CLC's predecessor, 4Minute (HyunA was in that group too)! Their tracks are very cool and have that attitude you like :D Some of them: Crazy, Hate, Watcha doin today, and Volume Up!

the kind of revolution clc once staged with hobgoblin.. they are one of the first who radically changed their concept and they did it successfully! cube should have promoted them more then and they would have been at the top of the third gen right now.. I really miss them.. they are really unique, they have literally everything... they are very talented both in terms of vocals and rap, and how gorgeous our main dancer is in dancing.. it breaks my heart that they are so underrated and end up like this, just waiting for the end of contracts тт hope to see more reactions to clc!! thank u so much for this video, I was really looking forward to it! ♡
Cube ent found the gem but wasted.. their management suck hm gladly I found them since their debut. but it hurt a bit since clc doesnt have lightstick. well people say this is because clc's physical sales, album not high like other groups in Cube ent.🥲 also Knet prefer their cute bubble concept/ song than this, I mean you can see clearly Pepe until No oh oh entered top 200 chart korean site but not international. when Hobgoblin released, they entered international chart like Billboard but didn't enter the korean chart site till Helicopter. hoping for the best for them 😊 ❤
Yeeun is a fantastic rapper. I'm sad they're disbanding but, even though I wish all of them the best, I'm really really hoping to see what Yeeun does next, she's sooo talented!

Believe it or not CLC actually debuted with a very cute concept. I love their older songs but they definitely suit this concept more and they ATE IT UP every single comeback. But i still really love Pepe and No oh oh in their older songs.
One of the CLC members Yujin (a vocalist) is actually in kep1er at the moment and thriving. I loved her but she admitted to feeling out of her depth with CLC's concept because she's a more of a sweet singer who doesn't shine as much in hard hitting concepts. But thankfully she's shining with kep1er.
