Funny. I was criticized for not going head over heels for ShB's soundtrack and the quickest "counter-argument" most people could come up with was "do you just want orchestral themes everywhere?", and then this theme has such a huge orchestral segment :p
SHADowbringers main theme is fine. Some of the music was just “okay” honestly. This song and the last trial of the story’s theme makes it worth it though.
I mean, they are right. Music being orchestral doesn't necessarily mean it's gonna be good and there are a lot of varities to music. This song being good doesn't undermine shadowbringers soundtrack. It just means you have different tastes.
How would they be "right" when I never said I wanted or even preferred full orchestral soundtracks? That's just a knee-jerk reactionary assumption because I dared to not immediately fall in love with the entire Shadowbringers soundtrack. And I also never said I didn't like it either. It's mostly fine, but I can count the songs I really, really loved on one hand. A rather large portion of this game's fanbase is unhealthily attached to... pretty much everything in this game. can someone help me I heard the part around 0:16 - 0:20 somewhere before but I can't quite put the finger on it
I believe that’s the Kholusia day theme. All parts of the hero gauntlet theme are renditions of the Shadowbringers areas. I personally find them hard to distinguish though, so it may be a different Shadowbringers area.
Sounds very similar to Mines of Narshe from ffvi
@@rh7902 Thank you so much I finally got it
Swear that but sounds straight out of a Pokemon game I played years ago lmao
@@Symphiney The Kholusia theme is from 0:00 to 0:16, the one he mentioned is the Il Mheg theme
a fitting dungeon for the end of a story
Final Fantasy XI players have their own dungeon now in XIV
I didn't see my PUP
thinking about how the first group of enemies you fight here (at 0:46) is an ff1 party
actually, now that i think about... the fourth group of enemies consists of a paladin, a dragoon, a bard, and a monk... hmmm 🤔
@@TypeSaturn Wouldn't that be part of the FF4 main party?
God I really need to pick this game up again. I beat shadowbringers than just kind of fell off it. But I feel that pull again
This whole dungeon was just a glorified PvP match :^)
The boys from another server coming in.
@@MekkahDee And their healers know how to DPS
Then it was the best pvp match i ever played
I like how this is a big mishmash of every dungeon before it. Not just the music, but the environment and enemies too!
This bgm sounds like an area on castlevania and i like it,, :)
no one gonna talk about hildibrand apparition in this dungeon ?
Where is that? I must have missed it.
@@the.duck.is.ronin. after the second boss where all the npc are fighting he spawn on the right, i think the requierement to make him spawn is that all 4 player must have completed all his quest but it's only my guess
@@kiwiofnazarick6455 I haven't done the quest, maybe that's why I haven't seen it
"So what if we made another Ghimlyt Dark...."
Yoshi: yes?
"but...made it GOOD"
Yoshi: ...
Yoshi: Please look forward to it.
But...but Ghimlyt Dark was great.
Hans Goober777 indeed it was
@Mekkah Dee I really love your UI setup! Are the play buttons on the side of the party list macro'ed?
GET TO THE TOWA
God, I want to know how to do these cards macros so bad
Is anyone getting chrono trigger vibes from this too?
it's a medley of all the shb area themes.... :(
Do I hear Sohr Khai in this theme?
LA HEE.
Lotta people will think you're a hater if you talk about the smallest thing that you don't like.
@@MBOmnis I think you mean just the very vocal people, while FFXIV is great, personally the best JRPG mmo with SMT Imagine coming second, we are at least more than willing to admit that it has it's issues and will voice them
@@MBOmnis Exactly.
I dont know who is the guy behind these ShB dungs but he needs a raise.
This is so epic aaaaaa from Holmister Switch till this one I was never so satisfied. Thank you Square, havent felt so many emotions in long time.
The music director is Masayoshi Soken, and actually he has a band called the Primals XD
@@deficit06 I meant, who had the idea to make the whole "scenario". Soken just typically outdid himself and gave us a hit lol
@@ArchangeZ Ah, i read song instead of dung XD. My bad.
And I dont know, but its freaking amazing.
@@ArchangeZ If you're talking about the writer for the main scenario quests, that would be Ms. Natsuko Ishikawa. 😊
