Can I Make Tawaf With My Shoes On? | Shaykh Yahya Ibrahim | Faith IQ

There is no real reason why tawaf cannot be performed in shoes. During the time of Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ the people would have their shoes on.
The shoes need to be:
- Pure and have no dirt on them.
- Made from a pure source.
- Earned with pure income.

JazakAllah khair, i have chronic foot and knee pain- didnt know this exception was allowed so didnt wear any shoes last Umrah, was in debilitating pain for days afterwards. This time Insha’Allah will wear clean shoes.
