Really appreciate the level of detail and explanation you go through for these installs. Especially for those who are stuck and looking around YT for tutorials.
Great video! I’ve been looking at these as well! Thank you for being our guinea pig in all things rebel 1100! Burley brand better be hooking you up soon as I’m sure you’re bringing in quite a few sales! Much love brother!
Hell yea, congrats man!! You’re gonna love it! And until then, feel free to continue living vicariously through my videos 😂 thanks for the support brotha 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@chubbypolarbear23 pause the video at 3:37 and you will see a nut about one inch north of his thumb. Take out the pin like burch does and loosen the nut. Then rotate the bracket to adjust. When you are satisfied tighten the nut back. You will also need to adjust the switch for the brake light when you are done.
The Burly Brand is the "pegs, Shifter & Brake pedal" set-up that I plan to use on ALL of my motorcycles that I'll have over the years of riding. I need those BIG, beefy pedal set-up for a comfortable ride! Right now the pedals make me feel like I'm riding a 50cc scooter and nothing bigger! Thanks for the video presentation on the great product Burch👍😁🏍️🤓🧸 Doug
7:45 , that rod you're unthreading from? Yeah, make sure there's loctite on the rod threads and inside of the nut when you put it back on. My tie rod kept unthreading itself and I got stuck in 2nd gear because of it just yeeting itself after it unthreaded. Edit: rod, not road.
If you are here to read the comments to see you want to subscribe, please note that I don’t care about the Honda rebel. I like all bikes and Burch makes his content fun and exciting. Burch is just awesome and you should subscribe. Thanks Burch for another great video.
Just yesterday I finally traded in my Rebel 300 for my new 2022 Rebel 1100 DCT.... AND I LOVE IT! Rebel Crew! ✌🏽🤜🏽🤛🏽 I also, like 30 min ago ordered the Burly Brand Crash Slider Kit cuz the bike just looks too sweet to me to cover it up with the bars AND I'm committed leaning into the SPORT Cruiser look...lil more sport than cruiser tho 😎 Y'all ride safe and take care!
" or you like me a lot " *raises hand* keep up with the good content, my Triumph Speedmaster doesn't need your installs, but its good content regardless lol
Jesus, I've never been this early lol. Idea I just did to my rebel, remove the mirrors and cap them off and get some bar ends. Changes the whole look. Makes it look more aggressive and I don't get a mirror full of my shoulder anymore. Need to get me some of those foot controls though, they look sick.
Yea I’ve been thinking about getting some bar end mirrors! I don’t have an issue with the stock ones, but I rode a buddy’s Rebel 1100 with bar end mirrors and really like them 👌🏻
I'm thinking about adding the moto X brake lever and the slash cut shift level the moto x pegs are out of stock until the end of the month so I might just settle for the slash cuts
I’m hoping not have my 1100 by the end of the month. I definitely plan on getting the Burly Brand pegs and controls but I can’t decide on the slash cut or the mx style 😅
I vote MX Style, but I’m obviously biased lol it just seems like they have so much more surface area and support compared to the slash cut ones. But then at the same time, you don’t have to mess with getting the angle how you want it on the slash cut since they’re just round. Honestly I think you’ll be happy either way! 🤘🏻
"Why did I wait so long, that was so easy." he says. While bleeding and cursing about how "Removing the spring" was the easiest part hahah Great vid tho :D
Hey man, you should make a video of everything you’ve done with your bike. I’m planning on getting this bike and would love to get some ideas from you.
That’s definitely in the plans! Every time I add another part I’m like, “Ok I’m finally at a place where I’m ‘done’ enough to make that video” and then I find another part I want and put it off until that part’s installed…and the cycle continues 😅😂
Does Burly Brand have any Floorboards? I like these MX looking pegs, and they'll more than likely hold my foot in place if I am standing up, but floorboards are much more confidence inspiring knowing my foot will stay in place [when standing up] imo.
I've been trying to get Burley Brand rider pegs but they've been back ordered for months. I'm looking at some floorboards from T-Rex racing. Any suggestions for alternative pegs? Can you list all of the mods you've done? Thanks.
I ordered a set of these because on my way home from the dealer when I bought the r11, the brake lever bent, popped the clamp nut off, then the level fell off 😅
So how long in real time did it take you to do each side. I’d like to known before hand you were doing this switch out. So I could have bought stock in bandaids. Good job Burch.
Hahah I think you’re onto something with that Bandaid stock! Each side took about 20 minutes including filming, camera angle changes, etc. So realistically the whole thing could be finished in 30-40 minutes 👌🏻
Can anyone tell me if changing the brake side actually makes the brake be more forward? I know on the shift lever it does but since they are sold separate by Burly I don't want to waste the extra cash on the brake side if its not going to go forward. It doesn't look like it does on the video so if not id rather save the $150
Yo Burch great video. I'm gonna get the Burly brand brake pedal. Btw I think if you put out some ride videos, they'd do well. Annapolis looks beautiful people dig that stuff. Be Well. ✌️🐐✌️
I definitely plan to do more ride videos soon! I love doing them, but I’ve just been so backed up with parts to install and stuff. Hopefully I’ll have another adventure/ride video soon! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Are they the only ones making after market accessories for the Rebel 1100? I like their stuff but I hate logos. I want parts that don't have any logos or brands on them.
A lot of burly stuff gets booku points in the style department, but it’s gonna take me an awful long time to forget how bad I got burned on my burly stilettos. Look cool, great stance… first sign of anything other than a smooth as glass road and they fall apart lol
Mind giving some more detail on the stilettos? I've FINALLY found a place that has them in stock and was about to pull the trigger on them. @LifeOfBurch has had me sold on them for a while.
Please I want a rebel too😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭just got hooked on bikes and I’m not joking when I say I’ve watched more that 100 videos about the Honda rebel DCT… I’m a beginner and I believe it’s one of the best … can someone hook me up with one…. I’ll forever be great-full 🤲🏼
I gotta stop watching these videos because it is making me wanna buy a rebel 1100. Im restricted to 650cc once I can though gonna rent one for a week and just full send north for 5hrs.
Really appreciate the level of detail and explanation you go through for these installs. Especially for those who are stuck and looking around YT for tutorials.
Happy to help man!! 🙏🏻🤘🏻

Thanks dude, I appreciate you as always!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I’m happy to be the Guinea Pig…most of the time 😂
Ordered my Rebel 1100 today! Should be in the first week of August. I've been binging your vids for hours lol. Keep up the content, brother!
Hell yea, congrats man!! You’re gonna love it! And until then, feel free to continue living vicariously through my videos 😂 thanks for the support brotha 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Every time you add something or you review something I want it. STOP you are costing me too much money lol great videos
Hahah I’m sorry!! 😭😅😂
Pro tip. To adjust the shift lever, loosen both the upper and lower nut of the rod. Rotate the rod to adjust.
That’s right! 👌🏻🤘🏻
Is there a way to adjust the brake side down? I hate how high it is on my ‘22 dct

No no no, thank YOU brotha! 😎🤘🏻
I wish Burley Brand would make their parts for the 500 and 300.
That would be awesome if they did! 😳
Those do look great. You gotta love those easy installs!
Looks amazing. Great job
Thanks Jerry! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Bike's lookin' mighty fine
Ahhh so you did go with them!
Yup, and I’m SO stoked I did! 🤘🏻
I love when you add parts and come up with random ways to get stuff to work 😂
It’s either gonna work, or I’m gonna make it work! 😅😂
Burly is a great company! Like all the different products they make
Agreed! All of their stuff is just such good quality! 🤘🏻
I am heavily considering the Rebel 500 as my 1st bike. Your videos have been very helpful. Now I just need to find one used for under 5k.

I don't have either the manual or DCT models. Sure am looking for one though! 😅
Ever get the oil leak fixed?
Any idea where a guy can get that little snap ring that holds the lever in place. It was at 3:55. I layed my bike down and that was all that broke
"Why did I wait so long, that was so easy." he says. While bleeding and cursing about how "Removing the spring" was the easiest part hahah Great vid tho :D
Damn that looks good!
LOVE IT !!
Do a forward control install video for the 500
oh man I wanted to see ya go for a ride with them.
I thought about it, but didn’t want to have to put on pants to finish the video 😂 they’re sooo nice and comfy on rides though! 🤘🏻
Here!!!!!! hella early.
LET’S GOOO!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I had a slid with my rebel, and completely bent my rear break pedal, where can I get parts to completely replace the entire assembly?
Hey man, you should make a video of everything you’ve done with your bike. I’m planning on getting this bike and would love to get some ideas from you.

I think t Rex racing sells a set of floorboards for the rebel
@@chrism6880 Thank you!
There’s a company called Kuryakyn that makes floorboards! You just need their #8889 adapters and any of their floorboards should work 👌🏻
they have some on Amazon. i put them on my 500. awesome, i love em!!
Thinking about a rebel 500 in the spring for my first bike sit about 5’11. Thoughts?
Hi, do you have a recommendation for highway pegs for a Rebel 1100?
I've been trying to get Burley Brand rider pegs but they've been back ordered for months. I'm looking at some floorboards from T-Rex racing. Any suggestions for alternative pegs? Can you list all of the mods you've done? Thanks.
Hey Burch I’m new to your channel have you reviewed the touring front for the rebel 1100 yet I would love to see it
I ordered a set of these because on my way home from the dealer when I bought the r11, the brake lever bent, popped the clamp nut off, then the level fell off 😅

Is this the same for the DCT
Would these fit on the Rebel 500? Is there any difference in how they attach or anything?
Did you get blonder?
I tend to get blonder during the summer from all the sun I think haha
You should get a CBR next 👀
As much as I would love a CBR, I think I’d have to go with a 636 whenever I get a sport bike 🤔
🏍
Would it work on the 500?
No unfortunately not 😔
