This is the correct adapters for these mini boards if you look at those ridges they are supposed to interlock with the mini pedal to prevent from slipping or moving around. Ok I have sent you enough messages. I placed the order and returned them other ones Installed Kuryakyn Riot Mini Floorboards, Honda CB500FA mirrors, and added frog grips tonight. Can't wait to test them out.
OK I need to ask you a question I received exact the same adapter C14 and the kuryakyn mini pedal and I think that adapter should go in the hole of the pedal when I was watching your install I didnt pay attention to that part because I truly feel that male part of that adapter should go into the hole and its too big I will need to contact Kuriyakyn and ask
I think your right, something is off. They have moved a few times when I've used them to get on and off my bike. I thought I just needed to use blue locktite on them, but they shouldn't be moving at all.
Super awesome video awesome motorcycle. I just bought a 2022 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT only 260 miles $8100 absolutely love it. I’m doing upgrades and I saw you in here . I love your windshield where did you got it?
Hi there mousebowen. What a great deal you got on your bike! I got my shade from Memphis Shades. Its great, it makes a big difference with the hwy speeds.
@@MOUSEBOWENI think it was because I bought things little at a time and usually during a holiday where I would find things on sale. Like my Burly sissy bar was on sale at the time on the Burly website and I got a free leather bag with it.
Hello I have a Honda Rebel 1100 DCT do you by any chance know the Kuryakyn Riot passenger peg model number also if there is an adaptor that model number ??
I'm sorry I don't. There is a Honda Rebel 1100 DCT on Facebook that you can join. I'm sure someone on there will know. If not, ask Rebel On The 11 here on YT and I'm sure he will know. Best of luck to you.
What size bolt did you use to connect the adapter to the mini board and where did you get it? I bought these exact adapters and mini boards and neither came with bolts.
@@motocatz87 Thanks, but I'm not talking about the bolt that goes through that uses the codder pin. I'm talking about the screw that you used the T-handle to tighten down that goes through the mini board and into the adapter. My adapters did not come with them. I think they're called socket cap screws
There is no comparison, the Kuryakyn mini boards are way more comfortable. I would never go back to those stupid pegs...ever! I feel like my foot is way more stable and it's very comfortable. Just make sure to tighten them up with some torque. Look in the manual for the correct torque. I tried to do 25 lbs of torque, but I felt I was pushing it, so I went down to 20, now they don't move at all. One thing to be aware of, I move my bike around in my driveway, so a couple of times I hit my lower shin on the boards. I had to get used to the distance to not do that. Now, I have no problem. Take the plunge and get them, you won't be dissapointed.

I took out this pin from this screw ( not a screw) ? And tapped it with my wrench ( not a wrench) then forgot the washer and faffed around with the split pin, .sorry but this was a difficult watch.. 😢
Oh gosh, sorry about that. I actually need to replace the pins because someone on here told me to never reuse the same pins you take out cause they can fail.
Nothing annoys me more about watching videos from people that don't know anything about mechanics is they call things the wrong name. For instance I'm less than three minutes into this and she's called a pliers a ranch, she's removing a clevis pin and called it a screw.
Hey there ActivityPhoto, thanks for stopping by! I would like to think I’m less annoying than a toddler throwing a tantrum in a seat next to you on a plane…but I guess my video is far more annoying. You’re too young to be annoyed by my ignorance in the names of tools. I’m sorry about that, but then again, I never said I knew about mechanics or the names of the tools I was using. I simply made a video to show how to put these mini-boards on. It’s not to offend people or to annoy anyone like yourself.
@@motocatz87 What this video shows me is that someone with a relatively limited knowledge of tools and engineering can still go ahead and achieve something if they apply themselves. Who has never forgotten to replace a washer only to have to take everything apart again? You might just motivate someone else to have a go too. Keep it up.
You need the 8889 Kuryakyn Splined Peg Adapter not the ones used in the video they are the wrong ones I have them on my 1100 and they do not slip as they use the splines to grip the foot plate. I ended up waiting months for the adaptors to be in stock.
Never use an old split pin! Never. Clean all parts and a little bit grease for the joint are always good...
Grease attracts dirt and used split pins are fine if they are in good condition.
@@FairladyS130 🤣🤣🤣
Split pin? Never heard it referred to that before. I believe it's technical name is a cotter key.

I looked at your video again you might want to look at your install maybe its secured right now but in the long run the thing is going to move
