      Fairysnmypond where do you get your polymer clay?

    • @fairysnmypond
      @fairysnmypond  7 років тому +1

      I buy mine at our local craft store. You also can find it on the internet. When buying you will have better results if you use a good quality clay. In my videos I have shared with everyone the brands I found to work very well for me. Here they are Cernit (color flesh) Femo soft (color flesh) Kato (color flesh). Just giving what works for me everyone is different. Hope this has helped.

    Those hands look so delicate!

    • @fairysnmypond
      @fairysnmypond  7 років тому +1

      Yes hands can be delicate but when using the proper clay and apoxie sculpt they aren't as delicate but still could break when given enough force. One other very important tip. Polymer clay when cooked should have some flexibility. This is great for the fingers to give them strength. There are many brands out there that don't. Another very important tip don't under cook polymer clay. Always cook it at the required temp your brand calls for. As long as you have a clay that doesn't change color each time you cook you will be able to cook your doll many times at the required temp always.

      If you go back and watch the video and around 9 minutes and 14 seconds into the video you will see the inside of arm and building it with polymer clay.

      Thank you for your time, one more thing, they can be original characters right, aslong as I send the measurements and some sketches

    • @fairysnmypond
      @fairysnmypond  7 років тому

      I'm sorry again but I'm not doing original characters at this time. They are very time consuming and I teach class's on a regularly also. The time and space for that type of doll just isn't available. Thank you for such an interest in my work. There are many very talented artist here on youtube that might have the time to make up your characters.
