What a great video. The speed and instruction make it easy to understand without getting bored and needing to fastforward. You gave me courage to order one today. I am excited for the project.
Just getting ready to install the same exact door from Lowes and this video is simply a fantastic reference - Thank You Handy Andy. Video is well-made & concise; it gives a great overview on the installation of the door so that I know exactly what to expect when I start the job.
Thank you! Thank you! I installed my door, exact one in this video and was amazed at the outcome. The instructions were'nt helpful but the vid really helped.
Great video! I just picked up the same door and planning to get one if my little one to be be my helper as well! You need more subscribers, you provide great details. Thanks again!
Very helpful - thanks! Is the door exactly 74" tall? We are looking to use this door for a den in our basement (not for a shower). We have a 74" ceiling in the basement so it will be tight up against the ceiling. Do you think we would be able to install this with the top up against a ceiling?
You didn't show the install for the bottom of the door. Which is why I came looking in the first place. The instructions that came with the door didn't show it either. So we have to guess that part.
Hey Handy...I just got this door , same one ,, from Lowes.....my shower head is in the right hand side but shower entrance is in the left. hand side (small bathroom , right side is the vanity) and the question is .....can i reverse the fix panel to the right and let the left one moving?...and the reel will be inside out or can I fix it to look like your door, please someone let me know b_4 take it back to Lowes....I sent an e-mail to OVE but no one responded yet......

What if the shower faucet is on the wrong side on the sliding door?

can the reel be cut down 1 inch
I just had this installed by a professional but I find the support bar flexes. Is this normal?

Did you get a response, I have the same problem
Instructions say it is reversible. I will be installing ours this way as well
Nice video but looks like you might have missed installing the bumpers stop that slide on the top rail to limit the sliding door travel.
It’s possible incidentally edited that out of the video but I did install the bumper stop for the door
the arrowhead bits is what I had to use. Those bits do not work
You didn’t show the bottom part
thanks

It only took you 1.5 hrs because you had your little helper.
VERY HELPFUL TURORIAL. BUT IF ONE OF THE 70 POUND DOORS SHOULD FALL OR BREAK THE LITTLE GIRL COULD BE SERIOUSLY HURT !
