@@002lisamarie Wolverhampton is fine, really. Although tourists expect a perfect, clean place where people respect them; I just have to say, you won't be recognised as anything more than a tourist or a newcomer if you don't fit in so people are more likely to target you. But other than that, sort of yeah. I don't entirely like it as much as the countryside's but it at least needs to have some recognition.
This is my hometown. Interesting fact at 16.45, Princess Street was the site for the very first traffic lights. If you notice they have got white and black banding on the pole just like the very first lights. Wolverhampton was granted governmental permission for this and its heritage status.
I live in Scotland and have only passed Wolverhampton on the train going south to London. Now thanks to your film I want to see your attractive city. I also liked *Visit the Green Spaces of Wolverhampton with Chris Baines* ; and *Wolverhampton Through the Past Darkly*. Also UA-cam
Thanks for this. It warms my heart to see Wolverhampton. I grew up here but let in 93 for the United States. Many memories hanging out in the downtown area on the weekends. Back then the town used to be full with wine bars and pubs. Is that still the case? Was still a town when I left...WOW! how time flies! Thanks!
It’s a shame once a lovely town has become a dump yard. It’s got so much history, but it’s been neglected by the authorities. Now it’s dwelling with druggies, feral kids and people living on dole money..
HI, nice video, i lived in the UK from 2001 to 2006, i've never been to Wolverhampton, I've seen Nottingham and Birmingham in the Midlans. I lived in Bristol for a year and then Edinburgh for the remaining years. I've vistied Scotland and north england, namely Newcastle, on and off over the years up until 2020. What airport is best for Wolverhampton? East Midlands?
It’s always missed but in the corner of St. Peter’s gardens is the Saxon cross dating from the 9th century and the most ancient edifice in the West Midlands.
What's the make of camera you are using, because the picture quality is absolutely amazing and I want to purchase one in the future so can you give me the name of the camera please.
Nothing else there now apart from eateries, cheap shops, hairdressers and nails, council dont care making it a no go zone making it impossible to drive in, jus want cars of the road.
@@jhareng it’s actually so shit. Wolverhampton has a pretty big football team so when I went their I expected it to have a big stadium and proper city centre. But it was dead, and I regret going there, West Brom was also dead. Walsall and dudley are actually alright tho
@@yesthen2704 Up there yesterday, its dead due to the roads now pedestrianised and have to park out of town walk in or fet an Escooter. Couldnt believe the route from Chapel Ash the bus took, 10 mins later at the new crap market.
Very nice video. You were able to make WV looking like a nice city. In fact, the city centre is full of weirdos and people that have nothing to share with the glorious history of this place. What a shame. England will be soon over. And I am Italian...
As someone who lives in Wolverhampton, i'm glad someone is doing a walk-through
Do you like it ?

Centuries of my mom’s family lived I Wolverhampton. Will visit next May.
Beautiful, neat, great civic architecture, Victorian, art déco, gothic,... Was positively surprised when visited a few years back. Thank you
Yeah I think Wolverhampton's bad reputation is somewhat harsh!
Wow! Love this amazing trip! Thank you so much! Really appreciate you showing me the world! Keep on moving! : )
Hey, thanks for stopping by! :)

Sounds like a lot of the UK unfortunately.
This is a well thoughtout walk as if you knew the city or were guided around.

both East Midlands and Birmingham. Do not expect to find a city like the one in the video though.
Wow very nice weather and very clean city love it ❤
Please make video on Christmas time.
Not a clean city at all… full of druggies and litter.. This video doesn’t show the real truth about the city!
Thank for sharing
Thanks for watching!

Super smooth 4K video. What 4k camera you used and did you strap it or hand held?
Thanks! The camera's a Sony FDR-AX700. I use a gimbal for stabilisation which is hand held.
