I just hate that all of this looks good but none of it actually works at a high level unless you have Goro. Laos dive kick is the worst one in the game and it’s his specialty. Yes it has quick recovery but Laos neutral is terrible. He has dash in to punish. And his spin should be a pop up. Rework him. Make the armor less plus give him his teleport back and a true advancing string.
What I usually do with Laos dive kick is purposefully whiff it then armour. Mixing it with a confirmed dive kick here and there. Can’t always rely on it, but it is something. And I do agree, Lao needs his teleport back.
I’m a Lao main and I’m on holidays right now so I can’t test this out but since the leg grab is overhead would you perhaps be able to poke then throw it out like khamelon ball roll?
@@SirCartierNY It’s good don’t get me wrong but if definitely has its risks, they can armor through it, and possible interrupt it in certain strings. That kung lao b3 mix can be armored through all options
@@ShadyGhost123yeah both b3 and b1 have gaps that can be armoured. Definitely a mix you should throw out very rarely or when they have no meter to armour.
hoping they add at least 1 string w hat . Doesn’t even need to be safe!
I know bro NRS did Kung Lao dirty in Mk1 😭😭😭
Off of the leg grab.. you can actually get two B24’s if you end it with 1, bf2. A little tight but doable
Preciate this golden video
No problem, thanks for watching 🫡
The only risk is if they up block it’s an easy punish but it’s hard to react up block IF they are conditioned to block low
Awesome video

You’re forcing my hand on this one. There’s more optimals and armor break setups than displayed here
Yeah, probably more. I’d rather just reserve meter for Lao’s armoured wake up. That’s why most of the combos I show are meterless or one bar.

Yessir, it’s easier to react to compared to the ball roll, but there is no risk in throwing it out.
@@SirCartierNY let’s goo can’t wait to do some cheap shit with Sonya haha thanks for the fast reply man
That mix ain’t real, very easy to react
Yeah, it isn’t as strong as khameleon but there’s no risk associated with throwing it out.

@@SirCartierNY Yep 👍
