I'm a 74 year old addicted crappie fisherman from ARKANSAS, i also fish whenever i want to go, lightning is my only deterrent on the water, love your videos, i have learned several things from your videos, thanks, and keep them comming
Ok folks!! As of right now there are 1.5k views on this video and only 196 likes. If you watched the video you had to enjoy seeing Brandon catch those fish and explain how he was doing it. So hit that like button and even the subscribe button as Brandon has good videos and gr8 information. Besides it costs you nothing and those likes will enable more people to get a chance to see gr8 fishing!!
That Crappie magnet Therapist has totally surprised me on color choices for water conditions. Don't be afraid to throw a color you think might not work today ! Keep up the good videos.
Try those Crappie Magnet under spins next time you’re fishing in the wind. They have worked really well for me on Tims Ford. 1/8 heads stay down good in the wind and you can still reel ‘em slow
Another great video! The purple and chartreuse Crappie Magnet color is called Therapist. Have you ever tried the Trout Magnet baits when you need to downsize? The Millie color is great for clear water like you normally fish.
Hi Brandon, enjoy the videos. Glad your feeling better. Knew we hadn't seen you lately. Hope you will do a video on catch, clean and cook. Thx for help on setting up my imaging.
I just found your channel as Im currently on the way home from Tim’s riding in the passenger seat. We have some pigs but not near the quantity you have. This is the first time I’ve fished Tim’s in years as I live close to Priest and Normandy, but after watching these videos, I will definitely be back. We fished timber near Estill Springs Park, but I’m looking forward to shooting docks. How cold is too cold?
Yes, man! Catch, clean, cook video!! If it's 2 things I love about fishing is catching em and eating em! Also, meant to ask you on your last video about shooting docks, can you share in a video with us how you taught yourself to aim and shoot? Did you just only practice on the lake or did you sit in the shop and shoot cans?
Windy day's it don't matter you definitely can't catch them sitting at home and happy Thanksgiving to you and your family great video hopefully one day you can do a catch and cook video.
Did you not like the light action rod ? In your other vid.? My hubby will usually go fishing like you ! Many times he has been fishing in the rain.He says, you are his kinda man !
Awesome video Brother, I can catch crappie in the spring ( everyone can I know) I want to do more crappie fishing in the fall and winter, I don't have live scope or active target and really can't afford it, are most crappie deep this time of year, do they group up , scatter, get in the river channel. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for sharing brother
I love watching your videos I am learning so much from you I'm new to tn. I fish from a kayak with electric power. Live in Jamestown where would you Suggest for a beginner to fish for some crappie
I’m not familiar with that area but do some research and find a body of water close to you that has a good population of crappie. Good luck and thanks for watching!
Brandon, I really appreciate the content in your videos. Would really appreciate if you could show more video of your active target.when you're on them.... having had my active target for 6 months, I am still getting comfortable with the technology. Any help in this area would really be appreciated.
Want a lil bit of a challenge and catch these 16-16.5"s? Come on up to PA tomorrow 11/30 our wind is only going to be a sustained 25 with 52mph gusts and some rain here an there with a possible thunderstorm.
Obviously you don’t need help catching them though! Lol. Just think it may allow you to put a few more in the boat on those days they are finicky. The Popeye jigs can be mean to em too!
Hey Brandon... I'm ready to take the plunge on a livescope unit and was wondering if you would tell me what your set up is. If I'm going to drop a bundle I want to get it right.
I have a Lowrance HDS Live 12" Unit with the Lowrance Active Target transducer and box. Some good deals on them to be had out there right now so shop around. Thanks for watching!
I just found your channel and I have enjoyed it so far, I've always chased catfish and I am so bored with them, I've tried to figure out how to catch crappie with jigs but no luck. I haven't found any good where and how to get started, beginner videos, do you have a good video for that or can you do an indepth beginner video? I'm from east Texas.
Watch Richard Gene the fishing machine in Alabama also.hes a master fisherman. Just found Brandon and his Chanel is great so far please let us see what is going on with your electronics
I am looking for the best way to mount a live scope transducer.i want a system that's separated from my trolling motor .any suggestions will be appreciated
Right now there is a fishing series on Crappie start to finish which is going to be a ten part series. Just go to #Wiredforcrappie on you tube and check out the series as well as his many other videos fishing for nothing but Crappie.
@@jamesbaskins6351 Brandon has a couple of videos out now on how to catch Crappie on a new lake where he shows his equipment and how it's set up. there are two videos for you to watch: Here is the first video: ua-cam.com/video/TBMX8pKrMz8/v-deo.html here is video # 2: ua-cam.com/video/vRP7LjAAo3E/v-deo.html
What lake are you fishing in Tennessee I’m not asking for the exact location just the name of the lake I live in harrogate Tennessee close to Norris lake n was just wondering what part of the state ur in
You need the yellow line to help ya see the strikes that you get on the fall of the bait. With the high vise line you can see those hits that you haven't felt yet . You watch for any unusual movement of the line and set the hook. You will be surprised at how many hits you will get on the fall of the bait. Sorry I'm not Brandon but I had to put in my $0.02 worth.. :)
I enjoy the videos, will subscribe and like. I’d like to see more crappie fishing without LiveScope. Just my opinion but using LiveScope is more like playing a video game about fishing. It takes a lot of the skill of “catching” out of the equation. I’m any event you have a good way of filming and talking and make good vids.
Hello ! Brandon Lester. I’m a big fan of UA-cam video. God put it on my heart to comment on your UA-cam video and ask you for your help. I’m a 58 year old man and I lost all my crappie fishing equipment due to a storage house fire and I lost my job that I had for 25 years due to someone had the virus on the job and the job shut down for good due to that and I have no money to purchase any more fishing equipment. Can you please help me out with a crappie spinning rod and reel and can you look around your house and see do you have a old crappie spinning rod and reel that you can mail me out If so I live in Montgomery Alabama. I’m praying to god that he touch your heart and be in your heart to help me. God bless us to help others who are in needed. Thank you so much and may god be in your heart to help me . Please reply a comment back to me please if you can please help me.🙏🙏
When crappie are out in open water a lot of times it's because they're feeding on zoo plankton. This is why they can be hard to locate, they move around eating zooplankton.

No such thing as too cold. When the water gets into the low 40s it gets a little slower but they will still bite. Thanks for watching!

Easier to fish in high winds when you have spot lock. Out on a small jon boat, not so fun. Lol. Good video

What type sunglasses do you wear for fishing
B wears Costas Ray.
What range in feet was your active target on when you caught that random school of crappie? Like how far out were your settings?
If I only fished durning the pretty days, I wouldn’t get a chance to go.😊

Usually the fish bite best out in the wind, if you can stay in it, if not seek places not as windy.😊
A lot of the ones I have caught here lately have had eggs in them B Lester.
What are your thoughts on scent?
I use them quite a bit. They are a big deal, especially on flat calm days. Thanks for watching!
