Never knew I needed an NFL breakdown in that accent but its kinda electric
I've loved watching these film breakdowns as a panthers fan... it's awesome to see Bryce playing with confidence, poise, and aggression.
The resurgence of Bryce Young has me watching every single film video of him i can find it's literally an addiction I just love seeing him play so well now after supporting him for so long lol
Not even a panthers fan but to see him bouncing back is great to see
Excellent breakdown. As a Panthers fan, I can't tell you how good it feels to have hope again! Sure, these recent losses still sting, but the difference in Bryce's play is just night and day.
I would disagree with your very last statement, though. I would argue that Bryce's benching is precisely why we're seeing a resurgence in his play.
We are all constantly moaning about how the league destroys the careers of promising young QBs by throwing them to the wolves too early instead of giving them a chance to sit on the bench and develop. And that is exactly what Young needed: A chance to take a breather without all the pressure of the spotlight and just get his feet under him.
Canales was absolutely right to bench him. And it looks like they were absolutely right not to give up on him and trade him away. Young is showing us he has what it takes.
1:13 before I realized you were saying “throw” not “troll” 😂
Great breakdown. Subbed
I got to 2:45 before I ran to the comments to see if someone else noticed😂
Wish more people watched tape or vids like this. Bryce is great and if we continue to let him develop and build the team around him he will be elite. I have total faith in him.
The Panthers have a bigger drop problem than the Chiefs last year. They should be in the race in the NFC south
Prob better long term- lose some hard fought games and improve this year since theres no way you win a sb anyway. Get a good draft position edit: and don't trade your fcking draft position either, Dave 😂
Yes, next season
Excellent Breakdown of some awesome dimes, decisions, anticipatory throws, and playmaking ability Bryce has been displaying these last few weeks. I love how you stay on pace throughout the video, calling out reads and decisions in real time with just the right amount of pause on film. Some other guys waste so much time replaying the same little thing over and over again because they aren't editing the videos playback speed to match what they are trying to articulate as you do here. Great video production, definitely going to watch more of your work!
You don’t know how badly I wanted bro to succeed that was something special in bro we can all see it 😢😢😢😢
3:45 is Ja’Tavion Sanders, not Miles.
Yeah I misspoke on that a couple of times. Happens when you’re pulling so much together.
The main giveaway is that Miles Sanders has never made a good play as a Panther. 😂
@@Dennis_Reynolds_Golden_God💀
@@Dennis_Reynolds_Golden_God FACTS!!! I thought the same thing. 😂
@@Cianafnot just that but they did hype miles sanders up so much we never heard of jt until the past few weeks it happens man
As a uk panthers fan, this video is beautiful
Legette didn't have to dive. He don't trust his hands so he wanted the ball into his body.
I've been saying that boy can't catch. He needs to put extra time into learning how to catch with his hands instead of trying to let the ball land in his arms or against his body. Commentator was on point with his initial analysis of Leggett lack of skill.
Spot on assessment. Dude loves a body catch. He doesn’t have good hands
Yea but he's a rookie so he's going to make these kinds of mistakes but he was where he needed to be when the game was on the line. He just needs to finish strong, and he'll be fine
That ball is huge😭 yall gotta give him time. My hands are damn near 10 inches and i can’t grip a pro ball with one hand well😂
@@billyford7853 Apparently he broke his wrist and is playing through it
Since the benching Ice Bryce has been dropping a couple elite throws every game. Really looking like a #1 pick with the anticipation, precision, and decisiveness. Love to see him smiling all game too. If our receivers didn't consistently drop key perfectly placed passes our offense would be pretty hard to stop. Really slinging it like a top 10 QB
man if we draft mcmillan we’re going to the super bowl
@@BrendoBostdon’t get me wrong I love t-Mac but wouldn’t his high school teammate mason graham be better for Carolina
@@BrendoBostif xl can get his shit together and coker come back all we really need is defensive players
He’s playing like an elite QB right now
😅 Elite?
I think of elite as top 5🤔
I'm wrong all the time. Maybe elite encompasses the top 25, now?
@@tdward23lmao😂 well can we just settle on he’s playing at a Kyler Murray level or above
Bro Bryce young's receivers let him down like crazy
Bryce is showing that he's able to read pre-snap defense and quickly diagnose post-snap defense. If Panthers o-line can keep him upright and clean, and his receivers can do their part, Panthers are going to be a team to watch. Adam Thielen is perfect for him. XL gotta get his hands together.
bryce WILL be awesome people...trust me just give it time...he is so calm n poise under pressure and is great leader....give the man some weapons
Great breakdown, Cian! Love your work.
Glad Young is finally paying off for you guys.
Thielen cooked Dejean that whole game.. I’m so happy to see Bryce turning it all around… we found our franchise QB and our HC and GM. We are on our way back to the top. The south is ours next season. Keep pounding.
Those drops by Moore and Legette on perfectly thrown balls were roughly 80 yards and 2 TDs.
That touchdown drop against the eagles was clear holding/P.I. Legette was way past 5 yards, but Darius Slay just reached out and grabs him? He should have caught it, but that’s a flag either way 🤷🏾♂️.
Great video ! Love to hear insight from non American fans of American football 🏈
I’ve always known Bryce was the one. He was just in a band offensive situation last season and the beginning of this one, so, him getting to take a mental and physical load off and reset his mindset has allowed him to truly show who he’s always shown since his time in high school to Alabama.
And we're back, thank you Cian!
Vid is fire and well made. Definitely subscribing. At 4 mins that’s the rookie TE Ja’Tavion Sanders not miles. miles isn’t making that play lol and same with the last play of the vid. Him and Coker are great; maybe X too but idk he’s gotta really improve his hands to be viable.
Now, for all the people that talked isssh about #9, I told you from the jump he was elite, you don’t win a sec championship at Alabama under Nick Saban and a Heismen, and not have the makings to be elite in the NFL, keep working Bryce, and as long as Dan Morgan can keep cooking and keep our staff we have, next season is gonna be the start of something magical I believe. I predict next season a solid 10-7 maybe 11-6 season and taking the NFC south back next season let’s go!!!
No the Panthers absoltely should have benched him, without that his strugles would have continued. He needed the time on the sidelines watching and learning to develop his abilities into the professional game. It showed him the things he could and couldn't do anymore and seeing a vet sit in the pocket and look down field helped give him confidence because before his benching he rarely did that and would run away at the first sign of trouble. He is playing like the QB that they wanted when he was drafted now and it is definitely partly because of his benching.
That pass to Moore was beautiful, you really cant ask for much better
Who says that Young doesn't have arm strength? EVERY QB at the professional level has arm strength...
Great video. Love the graphics. I have to disagree that the benching should have never happened. It has a lot to do with him getting back into stride. Love the fact that we Panthers fans have HOPE, as a team, for the first time in many years!
I would definitely say that it is not true that Ekwonu is not a quality starter. He isn't a superstar and with the additions of great guards is now the 4th or 5th best lineman on the squad but when you have a top 5 RG, top 5 RT, and top 10 LG, what else do you expect? He has played a hell of a lot better than last season with someone he can rely on at G starting most of the games.
They tried taking his whole arm and he still made the throw man
3:44 it’s not miles sanders it’s JT sanders put some respect on that rooks name he’s gonna be a top TE next year mark my words he’s like that
Jat'avion and Jalen are my two favorite rookies on the team 💯
Love the video!
My guy trusted in the Lord. 🙏🏽
My brain thanks you for the visual aid, subscribed.
Elite analysis
0:48 look how flat XL gets on this route, instead of stemming the corner he cuts it flat to shield the db
Bryce is a few drops away from beating the chiefs and eagles.
One thing I've noticed is his OL doesn't give him a lot of time to go through his progressions. On the first clip he had a EASY wide open slat up the middle, but didn't have enough time to look because pressure was in his face.
He is confident in his processing
Dave canalis really is the QB whisperer
I can see Bryce winning comeback player of the year, if he continues to play like this. Idk if ive ever seen a QB look so different from being benched.
Good man Cian, great analysis from an Irishman. I will disagree with you though as I feel it was the right decision to bench Bryce at that time. BY showed no signs of being a worthy #1 pick, he was like a deer lost in headlights until he came back from the benching.
It is truly remarkable what he has done since he came back as you show here, and with a lot of mediocre talent. Thielan is nearly 100 years old now, although still playing lights out. Our 1st round draft pick keeps dropping passes like you said trying to catch with his body. Our undrafted WR Cocker is also upstaging X Leggett. Hopefully a good draft on defense and Panthers football will be back, QB situation is resolved I believe.
Bryce Young and his Trolls. 😎 love it.
Give Moore and Thielen more targets until Coker gets back. Leggett aint ready yet. You're trying to force him to make catches he isn't capabke of making at this time. Smaller role for him bigger role for your vets.
He has come along way, but least be honest he only has one receiver. That don't drop the ball.
Awesome video!!! I just have one question if you get a chance to respond, and that's about Ikem Ekwonu. I notice that you're not much of a fan, and I was wondering if that's something you're well set on. I'm just curious, bc as a Panthers fan I'm trying to decide what to think about that guy and he had been getting solid grades lately so hearing your take was a bit of a suprise. I don't doubt that if you've watched film on him you know what you're talking about though!!
I don't get the arm strength rap on Bryce. He doesn't have a cannon like Allen, Herbert or Stafford, but neither do most NFL QBs. I've seen him make plenty of 60 yard throws with accuracy and he can throw bullets off platform without even setting his feet and being able to push off his back foot. His height was always the biggest issue. He needs slightly deeper drops and some rollouts. He needs a true #1 WR who is a deep threat and knows how to break off his route and find open space when Bryce extends plays out of the pocket, like he had with Jameson Williams at Alabama.
If Legette would learn to use his hands he could be a dangerous physical outside WR
Same thing with Moore on the other perfectly thrown ball that should have been a TD. The first thing they do after getting their hands on balls is to bring them in where a DB raking at it can poke it loose. They've got to learn how to catch balls securely in their hands and not immediately bring them into their body in contested situations. Legette bungled one of those into an interception a couple of weeks ago.
If Bryce was never benched he would never play like this. Sometimes it’s good for players and people in general to take a backseat a learn for a second because not everyone can learn on the fly. Sometimes they need to be on the outside looking in
That wasnt miles sanders at the end
It's JT Sanders as numero 0. Not Miles.
Shi rod wave got that talk no jutsu
Bryce young haters are an endangered species now😂😂😂
Lmao

*There is no need....to blitz...
Cowboys 11% blitz rate, 6 sacks 2 picks.
Thelian is like that !
No need to blitz just sit back and watch him give you the game
Keep Pounding
" ... he looks like a player the Panthers should never have benched."
On the contrary, I think sitting him has done a lot of good. Given everything we saw from Bryce last year and early this year, there's such a marked difference in his play after sitting that I'm not sure how anyone can come to the conclusion he didn't need it in some capacity.
He was great last year

@@Cianaf Okay, fair play to you for recognizing some things that very few did last year. You've gained a subscriber!
Absolutely should have never benched him.
Give Bryce Hunter or Tmac next year and he’ll be a top 5 QB
Everyone loves to hate on players but they’re on a terrible team of course they won’t be a great qb right out of college

legette is a bust
