    Simple yet very effective design. Wishing you luck to put it into mass production. The world needs it!

      Everyone that rides one loves it! The trick is getting everyone to ride it.
      Spread the word my friend...

      @@theotherebikeguy1473 I believe you. I would be happy to help. Let on me know if you need anything from Germany. The best promotion these days is online. The vehicle needs more exposure. More movies! Perhaps you can invite other UA-camrs to test the bike and publish their reviews.

      Yes. That’s my plan. I’ve contacted several people currently in the position of exposure. I’ve developed projects all my life and understand there’s many important influencers in the “shadows” waiting to see what becomes of it. I can’t criticize them for not, because they don’t want to tarnish their reputation if it doesn’t live up to expectations. I also don’t want to portray that it’s better than any other trike...it’s just completely different. I want the rider to come to that conclusion if it’s right for them.
      It would be nice to get a huge order so I can add automation into the production...my other strength.

      @@theotherebikeguy1473 That sounds very good. Good luck with that and I hope to see your machine in Europe soon.

    You are awesome

    Nice design. As always I would want to modify!😁
    Couple of questions:.
    1. Does the chain line stay straight? Just curious. I ride a fwd two wheeler so it is not an issue . (Maybe show a video of this.)
    2. Have you considered different seat options e.g. a hardshell with adjustable angle? To me, a comfy seat and angle adjustment is a selling point.
    3. How does weight compare to a regular trike? I have a TW Bent (old Performer) aluminium trike
    Thanks!

      Thx. There are so many things I could do with the overall design once established. I don’t know if you can see it but I took an a bout face from Status Quo and tried to pick up where I left off 40 years ago. Could I have an adjustable seat? Yes. Could I build a carbon fiber version? Yes. Could it have a mesh seat? Sure, but what led me to breaking from the Dogma of the standard recumbent of the day. Nothing wrong with them but nothing wrong with questioning the (what I would characterize as “stagnant technology”.
      Also to answer your question If I understand. The chain runs straight from the chainring straight thru a urethane rubber idler then to the rear cluster. The rear stays splay out from the dropout to the seat which is an integral part of the frame.

    Is there any way you could add suspension to this design? Or maybe it’s not possible because of tilting constraints

    • @theotherebikeguy1473
      @theotherebikeguy1473  3 роки тому +2

      So far I’ve come up with 3 solid designs that facilitate (front) suspension. The rear is simple fulcrum pivot technology but the way to handle the front would be gas charged because springs would add weight and complication in the mechanisms. It’s like the rest of the basic design. Make it the most simple effective way possible.
      I have it on paper but I’m taking baby steps so the bike can financially support itself and some of the exciting things I have in the works.

      The Other EBike Guy that’s awesome, but will this trike handle off-road conveniently?

    • @theotherebikeguy1473
      @theotherebikeguy1473  3 роки тому +1

      @@kossmoss4282 yes. Once I crack the front suspension code, there will be fat knobby tires and dual front wheel drive (Grin Tech). I’ll probably raise the frame and narrow the track if possible if those gas struts work. Carbon fiber tub style frame. Chain or belt will run in a chase, out of harms way...Top secret stuff.

    How does it do when you hit a pot hole?

    • @theotherebikeguy1473
      @theotherebikeguy1473  3 роки тому

      Pretty much the same. Of course it’s relative to the size of the hole. Just like if you hit a pothole on a standard trike and probably better than a bike where you would injure yourself most certainly.

      @@theotherebikeguy1473 great job , look forward to watching it's development. It looks like my zoomer Elite has a sharper turning radius. I love the Idea of leaning. One last question, I'm 73 , when i do a good hill I'm down into my lowest gear mashing along. Do i have to fight the steering to keep it straight up when mashing side to side? Thanks

      @@scottrhar THX I lost some radius when I designed more "trail" into the steering to stabilize it over the original prototype but it doesn't affect where I ride. if you lean back and forth while peddling it will do what you tell it (lean to steer) however if you relax your self and concentrate on spinning it's straight as an arrow. the stability on the straight is the second best thing it does. Cornering is the first...PLEASE SEE MY LATEST VIDEO "AR3 Riding Healthy" which explains the riding better.
      I also added a steering dampener for those who like to muscle and thrash while riding. Something I learned riding and designing motorcycle racing frames.
