Good to see both Yana and her mama Natalya making good progress with their rehabilitation. Also important is for both to heal mentally. Yaroslav is growing into a fine gentleman, helping his mother and sister. It continues to be important for them to know they have good support, however allow them ( Yana and Natalya)to develop confidence in themselves so they can be more independent. Huge thank yous to the healthcare personnel in Ukraine and the US for caring and helping them out. Thank you to RFE/RL for a great story!

Yes, Yaroslav, (aka Yarik) is always helping his sister, whether that is holding the door, or making sure she isn’t trampled in a crowd of children trying to get out of school, I know this because they are both my classmates

What happened to these two ladies is so tragic and of course unnecessary. But listening to them I can see they are a great support to each other as their problems are the same. The other thing that comes across is their positivity, despite the injuries they will make the most of their lives. There is a long way to go yet, returning to Ukraine is going to be a challenge. I wish them love and best wishes for the future.

I am also so much in awe of the strength - both physical and emotional - of those two ladies who survived that tragedy and are on their way to recovery! I hope those responsible for hurting them and all other innocent victims will get their punishment soon.

I am so happy to see this! After the initial report of these brave females, I worried what would happen to them. Thank you so much for following their story!💕 hopefully the peaceful beach will heal their souls and they can return to the land they love…where there also will be peace.
We take for granted the wonderful machinery that is our body. One muscle pulls another, the tendons and ligaments do their work without conscious effort, and our legs do not feel heavy. To move a prosthetic leg (however light) with only the muscles of the hip and thigh must be difficult and alien. And to trust walking on a sort of stilt must be difficult to do.
Very proud of both these ladies for not giving up and becoming depressed.
And very proud of this young boy for helping his mom and sister! He will make a fine man.

Well done to them both (and the kind brother) and to all the medical teams in Lviv and the US. They seem to be doing so well. I remember the first video - such bravery - and the mother being upset (with herself) about her daughter being in the "wrong place" at the station. May they all be in good shape soon and home safe and sound before long.

Even though not wanting to taint the somewhat heartwarming ending to this story, still it's called for to point out the immense importance that European & US governments stick to their promise to *the brave people of Ukraine* that *together* we wil help them *make Russia pay* for their truly *evil acts.* No if's and but's, *Russia must pay* dearly for *each and every innocent soul* destroyed, killed and injured.

I feel so very sad for the little girl, and cards she's been dealt. 😢 Thankfully tho, it happened while she is quite young and will have a far easier time adapting than her mother.
I really wish news organisations would denote the language speakers are using when providing subtitles. It would help demonstrate to viewers the fact that civilian Russian speakers are being killed and wounded perhaps even more often than Ukrainian speakers due to where and how the Russians are conducting combat operations. It will also help show that the vast majority of Russian speakers in the current combat areas are against Russia's intervention. In this case, the girl, her mom, and her brother were speaking Russian.
    Слава Украине!
